We stayed 2 nights for our visit to Bryce Canyon. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our 2 small dogs and this place was perfect. Lots of room in the back with grass for the dogs. Great place to stay and enjoy the old charm of a drive-up motor hotel.
As a Diamond Level Hilton member I have stayed some of the finest properties in the world, particularly Europe and the Middle East. And with a million Hilton points on account, I could stay free at and Hilton property if I wanted too. Instead, when in the area we enjoy the Lamplighter Lodge. While perhaps not as luxurious as a Hilton, this property blends a clean and homey boutique motif with a touch of 1940s "Motor Hotel" nostalgia. their are none that are any more "FUN"! The management has always been helpful, even accommodating our 2:AM arrival on this most recent visit. Some of these older properties can be scary...but not this one. Its a jewel. One can easily see the effort and money that went into refreshing this classic property to modern convenience and cleanliness. We are looking forward to our next stay!…
Lamp lighter lodge were very accommodating as we were late to check in. Room was great, spacious and clean. Felt safe in the area. We did get the only room that was close to the road so if you are a light sleeper, the traffic may wake you up. Couldn’t fault anything else and service was great
Pleasant stay. Room was spacious. There is no hair dryer in the rooms. This would be a most helpful addition as almost all hotels/motels provide these. The room was clean! We had a problems with the bathtub faucet but that was taken care of by the next day.
This was the best place we stayed on an 11 night adventure. It was clean, friendly, nostalgic and just plain wonderful. Loved it! The dog park was great. The inn keepers were just the nicest people who obviously love what they are doing.
This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's clean and well maintained. Inside it is small but nice. Comfortable bed, pretty decent internet, and shower with nice water pressure. Plenty of plugs and even some USB ports!!!! Price was higher than it should be but perhaps because of a balloon festival in town. Overall, a very nice place to stay,
We had a great stay at the Lamplighter Motel. They welcomed us and our pups with open arms. We got meet the owner and she seemed very attentive to our needs. As a new owner she is very involved with her motel and making renovations to the property. She was so proud of her work she showed us some of the completely renovated rooms. Nice job! We stayed in room 1. It was like being in a little bungalow. It hadn't been renovated yet. But it was a clean and ample room. Thank you Lamplighter for your hospitality. We will return again!
Very clean and friendly place to stay. Owner was exceptionally nice. Great place to stay if traveling with pets. A great area fenced in in back to let dogs play. Rooms have coffee makers, refrigerator and microwave. We stayed in room #1. Which had its on little court yard. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a typical motel outside, but the room is very spacious and updated inside with two queen beds, terrazzo desk/table and counter with sink in the room. Floor is tile that looks like wood. Manager is nice. Room has a coffee maker, microwave and half size refrigerator (with completely separate freezer compartment). Note says no cooking in the room.
Everything is good. But one thing was upset me….. there was the table where were microwave, refrigerator that occupied the entire space of the table, that there was not even a place to just have a bite to eat. It is very uncomfortable(((((
