Needed a overnight stay for a family wedding. Searched online and found this hotel close to the wedding location. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Didn’t have time to go to the pool , but it looked nice. Would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
Amazing staff and rooms. We keep coming back and will continue to. We always tell everyone we meet to stay here. We cannot say enough regarding the sweet people who work here to make your stay stress free as possible. The staff are sweet and efficient. Plenty of hot water. Clean room. Pets are welcome with a very small fee. We wish we could actually give you a virtual experience as we experience this place.
The contact-less check in was definitively different. All by phone as Front Desk remained locked. Noticing upon entering our room the door didn't look very secure, not one tissue in the holder, and the hot water knob on the shower wasn't working correctly but we managed to get it turned on and took forever to turn it off. The room was large enough for us and was clean, except for a bug here or there. I liked the fact they we could park our car right outside our room door. Pool was closed and no breakfast here, even though it's on the marquee out front touted otherwise. Our hotel in Cedar City had the pool open and gave us breakfast, so it wasn't a Utah-thing. No way this room was worth the $100.00, while lacking those 2 amenities. Next time we will look at neighboring towns for lodging.…
My parents booked this room. We were supposed to have anointing rooms, they didn't have any on the ground floor. There where cob webs everywhere even when we walked through the door into our room. Our room stunk really bad like dirty carpets. Room 104 had mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom. So they moved us upstairs to room 204, got into that room and mold all over that bathroom as well. I called and the front desk lady tried to tell me that Utah is a dry state and mold does NOT grow here! Well she is wrong! It does grow here it can grow anywhere, and her boss did not want to move me to another room. Manager advised the front desk staff to wipe it down with alcohol and tell the customer it is mildew. I have taken pictures of this and showed her in person. Finally after complaining enough she put me in another room witch she had me "inspect" before assigning it to me. Witch made me happy but I am still creeper and grossed out! I do not recommend this hotel unless you ask to inspect your room to the fullest before staying here!…
Very clean, friendly staff, nice beds and great service. Good breakfast, great water pressure. We did the 4-day Arapeen Trail ride and will do it again next year and stay here as well! Thanks for the nice stay!
Spotlessly clean and with an incredibly accommodating and friendly staff, the Horseshoe is consistently a great choice. My first experience was a middle of the night arrival with my sick daughter, the staff drove in to the office to get us a room (the office closes in the evening). I’ve stayed there since and been very satisfied. You price includes breakfast and they’ve got a guest laundry for extended stays. Make sure you book a renovated lower floor room with its homey log furniture and you won’t be disappointed.
Recent updates made the room comfortable and nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Downside is the coffee is not served after 9 am during the week and after 10 on the weekends. The continental breakfast was average.
Our room was clean, was reasonably sized, and was furnished with the usual motel toiletries, TV, etc. Our wifi connection was below average but OK and oddly the room was lit only by two dim lamps - so was dark. (We understand that this motel may be undergoing a change of ownership with possible changes in rates, ammenities and furnishings). I think we'd stay there again if circumstances required an overnight stay in Mt. Pleasant. Conveniently across the parking lot is a good Mexican restaurant.
I have stayed here in 2014 & 2015 prior to any renovations. It desperately needed to be updated back then. (bare bones & couch was like a rock) Without renovations, I would not return. Also, the "apartment" is stocked so poorly with pots/pans to cook in the kitchen, that it is not worth paying for the apartment. I recall telling the staff & they conveyed that they do not stock it much because people keep stealing the kitchen supplies. In that case, I would not offer the apartment as having a usable kitchen then. It's too much $ to not have a "kitchen" you can cook in. (we wanted this because there are not many places to go out to eat that actually taste good in this area) In the future, I will try a renovated room as the feedback seems positive. I am happy to see they renovated. It was overdue. With that being said, the prices are HIGH for what you get today. May be worth driving up & staying in a more built up town more north. (Provo instead?) (similar price, but much nicer stay) The good: very friendly staff & a decent selection available for breakfast. Safe area in the middle of no where. Plenty of parking that is free. They have a washer & dryer to can use too.…
This is the most handicapped accesseble room I have ever seen. I was able to bring my electric cart in to the shower get out sit on the shower chair and have some one bring my cart out and close the curtain. then when I was done bring it back in we had a king size bed with microwave fridge and tv.
