We stayed in a cabin, and we were happy enough there. One bed (plus two bunk beds), enough plugs, a desk, a shower/bath, a microwave, and a small fridge. No TV if you care. We didn't. It was small, but it all worked. Wifi too. We had a fine view outside the window, but there were cabins in our line of sight. Not really a problem, but if you want a totally unobstructed view, you need a cabin with a number in the 20's. We were in the teens.

The cabins at the view were a wonderful place to stay on our USA Road trip! The cabin was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed, and the view were just breathtaking. We woke up early, made a coffee from the coffee maker in the room and watched the sunrise. All staff were friendly and helpful and the gift shop was great, so many beautiful hand-made navajo items as well as classic souvenirs. We even were given a $20 gift voucher on arrival which was a lovely touch. Dinner was delicious, homemade traditional navajo dishes as well as some more classic dishes. Plus there was breakfast included in the stay which was a surprise to us. Good selection of the usual stuff- cereal, muffins, pancakes, bacon, eggs. A brilliant stay, would definitely recommend!

Spectacular location. You are visiting Navajo Tribal land. There is a park entrance fee, separate to the cost of accommodation and the National Parks pass is not valid for Monument Valley. Cash is not accepted, only credit card. Entry in May was $8 per person. The reception for the cabins is in a demountable just past the entrance to the loop trail. There is a sign on the glass door stating only one person in the office at the time. I had my head bitten off for leaving the door open with the A/C on. It wasn't hot outside, so it didn't cross my mind someone would be using the A/C. I went to check in at 3:19pm, check in is at 4pm. I was told the cabin was not ready and then was told she would not tell me any further information as the booking was in my husband's name. Was told she would send an email when the room was ready. I explained we were struggling to access emails and had to ask twice for a text to be sent instead. She was so very rude. Less then 10 minutes later, we received a text to advise the cabin w as ready. We stayed in cabin 2. It was large and spacious, with a bed in the back room, bunk beds in the 'hallway' which was also the entrance to the bathroom. The lounge area had a spectacular view out to the valley. There was a sofa bed in the lounge, a small round dining area and a kitchenette. The fridge was full size. Although there was a convection oven and a microwave, there was absolutely nothing to use in the kitchen. Not a a bowl, not a plate, cup, saucer, not even a spoon. Zilch! You will need to bring equipment with you. In fact the plate inside the convection oven was missing, which kind of renders it useless. Having read other reviews we came prepared with a light meal. There is a balcony and is lovely to sit out on, but be prepared for other people to come and sit out in front of your cabin to take photos. For a group who requests you have short showers due to locals having to bring in their water, it blows my mind the bathroom included a bath tub, the toilet is full flush - no half flush option - and the kitchen plug did not fit, so the utensils I brought with us were washed while wasting water. We were able to enter the scenic drive early morning, missing the crowds, so this was a massive bonus. The cabin was quiet, it was comfortable and the view of course was simply awesome.

The place was exceptionally clean and easy access. We read the reviews prior to this trip and were skeptical but once we got there, we were surprised how clean and simple it was, especially the restroom with shower. The registering was easy, and she was very friendly yet professional. I wish people would write correct reviews instead of finding faults and misguide others with their complaining. After all this place is in the middle of nowhere and only limited with some convenience. We had a wonderful time visiting with needed accesses as camper. We were extremely happy with our visit except the road to tour was rough but that's expected, I guess. Stargazing there was exceptionally great!

We stayed in The View, Valley Rim Premium View cabin, in Monument Valley. It had an unobstructed view of the valley. The cabins are situated in such a way that you don't see the other cabins and feel like you are the only ones there enjoying this magnificent scene. The young lady checking us in was very pleasant and answered all our questions. The cabin was a king bed with a coffee make, small refrigerator and microwave. The front deck was perfect for sitting and watching the full moon rise over the valley and the next morning watch the sun illuminate the monuments. My only regret is that we were only there the one night.

Big enough for two, l though 5ere is a small room with bunk beds, I would on,y bring real small children. Clean and well stocked. No issues with water pressure or a/ c. Sunrise was spectacular! Typical continental buffet breakfast, fruit, pop tarts, granola bars, cereal etc. The staff during check in could use some educating in friendliness and have better knowledge of the area. Same with the gift shop staff. Otherwise, highly recommend

We stayed in a Valley Rim Premium View Chalet. Absolutely brilliant exceeded our expectations. Bigger than we thought plenty of space for just us two, luxury towels and toiletries. Really comfortable king bed with fantastic views out the large front windows. We didn’t see the ‘big starry night’ due to cloud … but hey the sunset and sunrise were the best ever. We stayed seven years ago in the View Hotel which was also great but we had to agree the chalets with your own private balcony were by far much better.

The camp sites were positioned so all had a world class view. Bathrooms were clean and warm, only suggestion is to have hand soap. Staff was extremely friendly. Definitely would stay here again! Quick stay but we’ll be back

We stayed fir 3 nights at the The VIEW Campgrounds in an RV. It was so basic that we ended up driving into town to buy some water just to be able to use the toilet and basin ! An RV needs water. If you cannot provide it don’t let them in! They charge like a raging bull ( $120/ day) but have zero facilities other than a dusty piece of red dirt to park on. Too few shower in peak time as EVERYONE ( tent campsite and Rv’s had to use them! Cueing became ridiculous. At least get a central water point and dump point. That’s the minimum requirement if you want to charge that much!

Overpriced campsite for a RV , 89 dollars for one night dry camping ( that’s my choice) but by making a reservation there is no mention of te entree fee for the Navajo visitors center which you need to pay to get to the campsite, the do not accept te national park pass. No fire ( no problem ) no smoking ( in the outside air) who are you kidding. No BBQ even if you get one yourself. But RV’s with no one arround are allowed to run the generator. But the View is beautifull,
