Thank you Goulding's Lounge - wonderful place, very nice and respectful staff. Thank you for the warm and very great stay , we appreciate your service. Highly recommend this place as a stay in Utah. Restaurant and Gift shop is located conveniently. Great food - had a wonderful dinner and breakfast during our stay. Thank you! more to say - magnificent views!
I only stayed one night at Goulding's Lodge on a cross-country trip, but I wished I stayed many more. This place is incredible. The location is pure heaven, and the sunrise over the Monuments will change your life. And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was the only guest during my stay (travelling during Covid, probably not the best idea), and the staff could not have been more accommodating. If you're traveling through 2021, they were very safe and maintained COVID protocols to my satisfaction.
Good location, close to the formations and the Goulding museum exhibits. Many sites are tight and built into hill side. Would not recommend for big rigs but 35 ft or less ok. Formations are interesting.
First off many and thanks to Mona and Lynette for their incredible and personalized service. I have stayed at beautiful hotels all over Europe and this hotel was as impressive as any. Located in Monument Valley the views were breathtaking. In addition I was fortunate enough to catch two sunrises from my terrace. The rooms are immaculate and exquisitely appointed. The hotel is more like a compound as there are several separate areas. On premise there is a dining room, gift shop, indoor pool, cabins and a museum. Just off premise is a convenience store, gas station and laundromat. It really is self contained. The location is well centered for southern Utah attractions; twenty minutes to Monument Valley, an hour from The Valley of the Gods and an hour and a half to Natural Bridges. The hotel is pet friendly for a fee but I would not hesitate to stay here again. At the time of my visit they were running a special, pay in advance for one night and the second was free, just pay the tax! The one glitch on this stay was that the internet was not working, of course that was rectified shortly after I checked out.…
We drove to Monument Valley from Bryce Canyon and stayed at Goulding's Lodge. The service was wonderful. The room was spacious, very clean and had an unbelievable view of Monument Valley from its balcony. Watching the sun set over Monument Valley from our balcony was a stunning visual experience. This is a very self contained resort. We ate at their restaurant, which was excellent and shopped at their gift shop which had some very unusual items not found elsewhere. If you intend to visit Monument Valley, Utah, this is THE place to stay.
