I stayed at the Firetree for two nights and l made sure I read all information thoroughly so I knew what to expect. I brought plenty of supplies ie snacks, beer and some wine and also a cooler although I was pleasantly surprised to see a fridge in my Hogan. I LOVED the little hogan, the memory foam mattress was... I found this interesting place through a brochure called San Juan County, Utah's Canyon Country. My sis in law n I were staying in Sedona so I decided since we were going to visit Monument Valley that we spend a night in something different. I booked a Hogan and I must say that we were extremely surprised of this place.... More

We recently booked a night in the teepee. Our family is always up for an adventure, but this was a little too sketchy for us. The directions stated that is would be an easy dirt road drive once the pavement ran out, but our rental car struggled at times in the thick sand. I think the pictures on the site... More

We're sorry you didn't like FireTree! It is VERY important that you read our "Important Information" webpage and our emails, because the things that made you unhappy are things we told you about before you came. It has been years since anyone had any trouble with our road, so we tell people not to worry. Like we say in our... More

I had to bring my friends here for this great experience and great breakfast. I will come visit here in a hurry whenever I get a chance to!! Great people and starry night skies. A great stay at their hogan. Nice conversation with British people visiting here also. And friendly kitty.

We visited for the night, having visited the spectacular Monument Valley in a monsoon thunderstorm and then paying a visit to Gouldings, where we had a good meal and visited the interesting museum. It was starting to get dark when we set out to cover the few miles to Firetree. The road was ok until we rounded the Mesa and... More

Took us a little while find to find firetree in dark but once arrived warm welcome from Raquel and Martin stayed up late and met us. Four of us stayed one night in a tipee in August (Hogans were fully booked then) which was more meorable than just staying in a regular hotel/motel. Comfortable beds with electric light and restroom... More

Me and my granddaughter stayed in the small hogan on July 13. My granddaughter is 11 and she just thought this was the best thing she ever did and wants to come back. We only stayed one night, she says next time it will be at least 2 nights! Rachel and Martin are wonderful hosts, when we arrived Rachel took... More

We stayed at Firetree one night in July 2016. It was a great nature and a fantastic clear sky to watch for shooting stars. We stayed in the big Hogan, but was a little bit disappointed about the cleaning of Hogan. Floor was wet and sticky, we know it is a Hogan, but they should have put water on the... More

During our 10 day tour of Utah, we stayed 2 nights at Firetree Bed & Breakfast. We reserved one of the 2 hogans on the property. It was an amazing experience. Raquel and Martin were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. There was another family that stayed in the other hogan. We shared a bathroom which was no problem at all. The... More

We stayed at the Firetree in June 2015 during the last leg of our journey around the big loop. You have to drive around a mesa to get to it, but it is well worth it and it is only a few minutes to Monument Valley. The location is very peaceful-no traffic, no noisy neighbors, and a beautiful natural setting.... More
