We were disappointed that they weren't serving a breakfast due to a staffing shortage. Part of the reason we booked a Bed and Breakfast was to get breakfast in the morning. Location was OK and room was OK, not great.

I love to stay at bed and breakfasts. We arrived and did a self-checkin with our key waiting on a clipboard. Our room was lovely, good bed, good AC (it was warm). The breakfast was not really included. Two Keurig coffee pods were given in the room with an extra charge for more than two. Each guest got two "free items" for breakfast out of a fridge so one could get cereal and milk, banana bread and juice, etc. This is not what one expects with a bed and breakfast booking. The room did have a "welcome" packet but most of what I got out of it was the price we would be charged for each item we took home - pillows, sheets, towels, the comforter. Do away with the warnings and keep it upbeat. The only employees we met while there were kitchen folks cleaning up dinner for the restaurant side of the business. The whole experience felt much more like a contactless AirBNB stay - here is your room.

The photos are the inside of course. Rooms are big, no hassles, clean, this is a remodels Flour mill, lots of space, safe, easy to find, the price is 60% than Moab, nice folks here. Everyone here and in the city is very nice. The Inn is still in the process of developing the whole lot. Can go wrong with this one.

Room was quiet, comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was as well. Lovely welcome package on the bed that included 2 free coffee pods and some small soaps and jams for purchase. Check-in was convenient, our room key was clipped to a small clipboard at the front desk; our name was hidden to protect our privacy. Unfortunately our 10pm arrival meant we couldn't take advantage of the discount on dinner in the restaurant, and due to staffing issues (I think) it wasn't open for breakfast. The dining room was available to use the Keurig for my morning coffee and I conversed with a few other guests. Additional pods and snacks were available for purchase anytime with a credit card. Overall a good stay!

First off, let me say this was my first stay in a B&B, so my expectations may have been too high. Second off, let me say that the people we met there, including the owner and Charles who worked in the restaurant were SUPER nice and helpful... Any comments that may sound negative have no direct reflection on them. When we first walked in, there was our reservation and room key hanging on a board - we were able to find our way through several staircases to our room, which was nice enough and seemed clean. However, there is no ice maker publicly available and while 2 "free" coffee pods were available, any additional coffee would have to be purchased. I just walked down to the gas station instead of dealing with the Keurig pay dispenser. The AC unit worked most of the time, but did not produce a consistent flow of cool air overnight, and it was warm out... The carpeting throughout the place was very dated and worn out. There was a path of worn out and dirty carpet between the kitchen and dining room. The town was unremarkable and had no character, so unless you were heading to Moab, there would not be many reasons to stay there more than 1 night. Overall, the folks we met were very nice, but the facility is in need of some updates.

I recently took a solo trip to UT (Moab/Monticello area) to work on some creative projects and had a lovely stay at the Grist Mill Inn. The room I stayed in (Nielsen Room) was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a lot of charm to it. I appreciated the small touches from the staff, including a welcome tray and two free daily items from the dining area in lieu of traditional breakfast service (a change since COVID-19). I also loved spending time at the attached bar/grill The Granary. I will definitely be returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here! The B&B was charming. Loved the welcome tray and the furnishing and bath were quaint. Loved the delicious food at the Granery next door also! Would highly recommend if you are passing through! Wish we could have stayed another night!

Wonderful historic inn. The in. And restaurant are amazing. An extra discount for dinner as well. Very quiet, spacious room, hot water, and comfortable for my one night. Everything was waiting for me when I arrived. Self checkout as well. Hopefully my travels brings me back this way. I will return when I can

The Grist Mill was awesome! We were very pleasantly surprised by our room size, decor and amenities. Charming place and we so recommend eating dinner there after a long day of hiking. The full bar with unique cocktails and wine and beer from local Moab establishments has something for everyone. Our waiter Charles and Amy the bartender were so friendly we felt like family. The banter and laughter kept us amused! Had their fried mushrooms that were prepared in a batter that was very unique and crunchy and their chicken green chili was fantastic and had a wonderful flavor! My husband ordered the triple by pass burger and there were many burger options available. I hope to get back there some day!
