Rooms need some TLC and maintenance. So do the pools and the spa. Not sure why I have to type 200 words when 65 words say it all. Guess you need to be a long winded person to leave a comment. Sorry that is all o have to say.
Great location. Their restaurant was sooo good and their Spa was awesome. The rooms however need a serious update. The carpet is old and not very clean and the bathtub was crack and worn down. Also the shower head sucked!
Upon check in, we were told that they no longer offer housekeeping unless specifically requested. Is this normal nowadays? We left an item in our room after check out. Notwithstanding several calls (6-8 over 3 days) to the front desk after leaving the property to try to recover our lost item, nobody ever called us back as promised each time we called! Absolutely zero follow through. Disappointing and frustrating.
This resort is beautiful and very spacious. I will be taking my family here on a getaway for sure. The inside/outside pool was a fantastic feature with the rock waterfall. I wasn't able to experience the restaurants this time, but will be next time
Kind of fun to stay at a 'themed" resort. Room was large, beds good. Some issues with light fixtures. Small but nice indoor/outdoor pool. Obviously set up as a winter/snow resort vs summer but still nice. Not a lot of people around. BONUS!
The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, staff was kind. Maintenance was a bit of a letdown as he did not seem to want to fix our AC unit. He suggested opening the window at 94° to cool the room. Other than that it was a nice stay.
This is a Great venue which offers a peaceful time. It has many opportunities for activities such as miniature golf, giant chess, shuffle board, children activities, and more. Also, there is wildlife such as muskrats in the local stream and lake, and more outside the hotel area. The Conference Center is excellent with a separate and excellent exhibit area.
Everything was clean and the staff were very attentive. The only issue I had was in the initial booking online. The confirmation said 1 adult and there were 2 of us. Easlily handled with a quick phone call.
Great food options all with in 8 minutes. Gorgeous views. Friendly staff and service. Wifi worked well and many fun and close by activities. Would recommend to friends and colleagues. Was a great conference lo .
This hotel was once a very nice place. but the grounds are in a state of shambles. The mini golf course was fun but again has not been kept up on the plus side there were gold fish in the water hazards. Some of the amenities were out of action and looked to be that way for a long time. The water features on site smelled and should be cleaned out. And the goats were not on ground like it was advertised.
