Never stay here. Located in a rough part of town. Could not wait to leave. Worst La Quinta we have have ever stayed in. This hotel is very dirty, old and noisy. We should of stayed where the team was staying.

I asked the person if I had reached the midvale hotel. He said Yes! His english was terrible! I asked if he worked at the midvale La Quinta. He said of course. I explained that I needed 2 adjoining rooms with a connecting door for myself and my 75 year old mother in law.. He checked available rooms and said that he only had 2 rooms with double beds. I unhappily made the reservation! He then asked me if I wanted to receive a $100 gift? I SAID NO! ( timeshare sales pitch) He transferred me anyway! When we arrived that night, at the hotel, the woman at the front desk informed us that there were no rooms with connecting doors in the hotel and that I had made the reservation at wyndham central reservations. The rooms were adjoining though. The women at the front desk gave us 2 Wyndham rewards bags with water, bag of potato chips and package of two cookies for having to experience a completely unacceptable situation. She also gave me a card with the real direct number to the hotel. I WILL NEVER STAY IN A LA QUINTA HOTEL OR ANY OTHER WINDHAM PROPERTY, EVER!!!

First off the this hotel was very nice overall. The room was updated and clean, the bed was comfortable and the linens seemed to be new(er). It was also very quiet. Nicholas at the front desk was awesome. More hotels should have a Nicholas greeting you with the warmth he did. You could tell he likes his job. That being said the hotel building didn't look like it was originally a LaQuinta. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 is because the bathroom area is small. Sink on the outside of the bathroom door and a tiny toilet/shower area like a Super8 or an Econolodge. But overall I would stay here again. Now, let's clear up one misconception here people. The free breakfast. You get what you pay for. Be thankful they had a protein for breakfast (hard boiled eggs). Most hotels at this price point do not. I was in town for a disc golf tournament and the protein was very much needed and very much appreciated! "Continental" breakfast by industry standards is usually cold cereal, muffins, bagels and milk. Anything else is an upgrade. Oh yeah, they also had waffles too.

We needed an inexpensive place to stay. This location was just that. The bed was comfortable and the tv options were nice. We had very limited cell service in our room. I had to go down the hall near a door to make a phone call and to send and receive text messages. I was glad I didn't need to use the shower as it looked old and dingy. The poor smell of the room was startling upon entering. The toilet was stained and made me feel like it was not clean.

My family and I stopped here for the night around 11pm. We carried kids and luggage in. Got the kids changed and into bed. Coming back from the bathroom I stepped on something. I turned the light on to find a needle with heroin/blood. My husband called the front desk and we were given a new room. Got kids up to find a room with only a single bed. We were finally given the correct size room. By now we are all feeling uneasy. I called non emergency to report it. The dispatcher said she “could send an officer out to pick it up as lost property but it would probably just be tossed” I’m completely blown away with the whole experience. It was clear the young man working the front desk wasn’t bothered by our find so we decided to wait until the morning to talk to the next staff member. Upon checking out, we were given a discount because a potion of the cost was already charged to our card. We will be calling up the chain until someone takes this serious. We love La Quinta hotels. We prefer them over the other chains. We will drive a little further to stay at a place we have grown to trust but this specific location is horrible!
