THE place to stay in Kanab. You can stay at the chain hotels anywhere, the Parry Lodge has the softest towels in America, lovely, historic rooms and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. This last visit we stayed in the "newer" wing behind the dining room and it was perfect. A small upgrade ($5.50) made the free continental breakfast... More

Good, quiet, clean family motel. A great location to enjoy day trips to Zion National Park. Nice pool. Nice musical family show in the evening in a converted barn on the property which cannot be heard from the motel rooms.

Kanab in season gets room rates higher than the quality merits. Parry could do better but doesn't have to. Still it's friendly and clean and it's a long drive to the next town of any size in any direction.

As we have been traveling around America we have stayed in some great hotels and some not so great. This hotel had the worst rooms of them all. Yes it is quaint and lots of pictures of old movie starts, now long gone, and it's beautiful on the outside. The breakfast is OK but the rooms! The first one they... More

This is quintessential Route 66 American motel experience! SO cute and right across the street from several dining options. Rooms are small, but clean with nice touches. It’s basic, but rather fun to stay at something historical. Has a nice pool area and they show movies out back in their barn in the evening. Kanab was the ‘Hollywood’ of Utah... More

Our stay was wonderful!! We went for the history of the Duke, staying in a place he had been. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk was helpful. After reading the reviews I was concerned about the service, they were put away quickly. We were well taken car of and its nice to eat at a place that's not... More

We loved it! The front porch rockers offer a relaxing end of the day respite. I rocked while my kids tossed the football. The rooms are spacious with huge king beds, clean wood floors, and soft sheets. My bed was a little soft, but so am I. I'm skipping breakfast as other reviews are hideous. That's ok. If you didn't... We went here to have access to the North Rim (80 miles away). Parry is a nice place, but it is not worth $119/night. There is no fridge and no microwave. The shower is just a stall. On two of our three nights, I had been bitten. One night, after only being in bed for two hours, I had noticed... More

We picked the Kanab area to be near Zion National Park, Page AZ and Bryce National Park. We stayed for 3 nights. It IS a great location, but unfortunately Parry Lodge doesn't cut the muster. The lodge used to be where all the greats stayed when filming in the area. They even have an old barn converted into a movie... More
