We stayed for one night and appreciated all the amenities. Quail Park Lodge has an updated retro style that creates a comfortable 'motel' experience for when you need a place to sleep between all your local adventures.
This motel is reasonable and charming. The managers, Robin & Vince, are kind, helpful and aim to please. My stay was a delight! There are a host of attractions in the Kanab vicinity (Zion NP East entrance, Escalante/Vermilion Cliffs National Monuments, Grand Canyon North Entrance) and the Quail Park Lodge provides an ideal base camp.
This will be our fourth time staying at the Quail Park Lodge. It is decorated in a fun retro sort of vibe, but is also modern and homey. It is a great base of operation for a visit to all the attractions near Kanab. The gentleman running the place is super nice and answered my texts before I arrived promptly. He went out of his way to be pleasant and make my stay even better.
We were hiking in the Kanab area. This small motel fit our needs. It reminded me of a retro motel that you would have found on the old Route 66 route. The room was small, but nice, clean and comfortable. There was a handwritten welcoming note on a bed. Robin, one of the managers, was extremely friendly and helpful. She went the extra mile to make our two-night stay enjoyable. I would stay here again.
The stay was really pleasant. Clear instructions for check in after hours. Bicycle rides, tennis and other sports equipments free to use. The staff is very polite and helpful. Amazing coffee and breakfast
The website has these really cute rooms with nice colors and sunny rooms. We didn’t get that. We reserved a king room- picture#1 and we got room #11- picture #2. This picture is taken during the day with the curtain open and all the lights on… looks totally different when you arrive later and exhausted from hiking the Grand Canyon. If you get to this property in the summer and you get room #11 go back to the office and ask for a different room. Here’s why. It’s dark and small. This room has the nosiest air conditioner ever used. I have traveled all over and have to say that this ac unit in this room is the most awful unit I have ever encountered. When it turns on the room shakes.. it’s bad. The bed was uncomfortable and the ac loud. I see the other reviews and they are all…
The hotel was quiet, clean, retro with the right amount of modern. The owners were very friendly and fixed an issue with our air conditioner immediately. The muffins at breakfast were still warm from the oven. They even have bikes for guests to use if they want. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
Loved this place. It is an old Route 66 style but everything is updated. The room was nicely decorated. It was clean and very well maintained. The front desk was very helpful; the owner checked on us to make sure we had eveything we needed. It is convenient to everything you would need in town as well as the national parks we were planning on visiting. Kanab is a great little town. Would stay here again!
This place is so accommodating and super cute! Robin and team were super sweet and helpful. It was very clean and comfortable. I would most definitely stay here again with my family of five! Great central hub to lots of things to do around.
We stayed here for three nights and chose this hotel primarily due to great reviews. The only 'Retro' qualities to this hotel that I observed were the bikes outside the office for guests and the lobby. The room was 'comfortable', but I would just say average in comparison to other hotels. The A/C Unit is quite loud. The 'Free Breakfast ' is a bagged breakfast. The pool was closed ( probably seasonal, as it is April), but weather WAS warm enough by now. On the positive side, all of the employees were friendly. The hotel appeared clean, and our room was clean. Overall, I think this property is overpriced. My biggest gripe is the $10.00 'Resort Fee'. Resort fees always bother me but there are some places that you just have to accept this practice ( Las Vegas, Palm Springs). I…
