This a a small but nice camp ground. Spots are close together but our 32 ft motor home and tow vehicle fit just fine. The camp host was very friendly and the place was very clean. It’s close to the grocery store and many restaurants. Perfectly located if your going to Zion or hiking in Kanab. I would stay here again while passing through.
We had been boondocking and were looking for a good RV Park where we could take some hot showers and get caught up with social media. Man did we pick the wrong place. The folks here are nice, but this is an Old, Small Park. The hookups are set up for park models and it was a chore trying to back in and not run over the water and sewer. The sites are so narrow our dining slide hangs over the patio pad and there is no operating WiFi unless you’re next to the restroom (we were 100’ away). The restroom building is old and small. When using the 1toilet your feet hang out under the door and you have trouble getting up without opening the door. The front of the toilet is literally 5” from the inside of the door. Save the trouble and go a few blocks down the street
We're here at the Hitch-N-Post RV Park in Kanab Utah and it has been awesome! The camp hosts are all about making our experience everything that we want! They always have a suggestion if we ask. Best of all they put together an ATV ride out to Peekaboo Slot Canyon which was at the top of my things to do while in Kanab! Camp Host Mike was an awesome tour guide! Loved every minute of the day! Definitely will return!
While moving to the Utah-Colorado border, the radiator in our truck blew out in Kanab, UT. This happened early in evening on Saturday. No mechanic could even look at it until Monday. Our truck and trailer were loaded to the brim with tools and valuables. Far too much stuff to put in a hotel room. We also had our dogs with us. The only option was to camp so we could keep an eye on our possessions. Just so happens we’re in the middle of an excessive heat warning. We told our predicament to the staff at The Hitch-N-Post, and they furnished us with the most shaded spot for us and the dogs. They went out of their way to help and accommodate our needs. The tent sites don’t have electricity, yet they even ran an extension cord over to us so we could keep the dogs cool in the blazing 105 degree heat. We just so happen to love Kanab. But we’ve always stayed in a hotel. We will be back, and after we his experience, we will support this outstanding establishment from here forward. Thank you to all the staff and hosts who helped and saved us in our hour of need. Keshia and Erik. …
My husband John and I happened across this park after leaving AZ. We wanted a place with cooler temps than Apache Junction in May. What a wonderful spot this is. The location is excellent to put you in the center of major points of interest. 2 grocery stores within walking distance! But the best part is the people. From owners, to managers to camp hosts, we met some of the nicest people!!!! We can’t wait to go back.
Great little treasure in the middle of Kanab. Close to everything, grocery, post office, laundry and restaurants. Our favorite is that it's not just a parking lot. All the campsites are surrounded by mature trees with plenty of shade. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely make this one of our go to campgrounds.
Staff was very helpful and cared about the guests. I was a little short on an electric cord and they went out of there way to loan me one for the night. The price was right. The reservation was answered quickly. I'd stay again.
We were in Kanab in late September. The weather was beautiful and the Aspens were just started to turn at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kanab is a lovely little town. The Hitch-N-Post RV Park was a very nice oasis under the trees. The location is fantastic and it's within walking distance of everything. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had a RV spot with full hookups and a tent spot behind. We had a glitch with our plans and the staff went out of their way to help. We will definitely stay with the Hitch-N-Post RV Park on our next trip to Kanab.
stopped here while bicycling to and from north rim.they have a half dozen nice tent sites.bathroom was nice, laundry and grocery store next door.within walking distance to town and many restaurants hosts were very nice. we were leary about tenting here, but it was late. glad we stopped.
We took a 2-week trip through Southern Utah (Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce, Zion) and really enjoyed our stay at Hitch-N-Post RV park last weekend, It was one of our last stops on our trip and we really felt welcome at the RV park. The park hosts Judy, Bill, Mike and Tita were very welcoming, although we booked at the very last minute. While the park does not have much grass, the many trees provided ample shade. We will definitely return to this RV park and I would recommend it to anybody!
