We planned a short notice trip to Dinosaur National Monument for a weekend of hiking and were very pleased to find this available. We were put in a large room with private bathroom and access, which was charmingly decorated in Japanese decor with an artist's touch. Room was very spacious with king sized bed and modern appointments. Host was very helpful with small requests, local information, and was Covid sensitive. Breakfast was lovely and delicious with lots of "farm to table" items from their own garden.
I have never felt so at peace being outside surrounded by huge trees and alfalfa fields. This place is gorgeous, inviting and a hidden gem. The owner and her family are welcoming, informative, sweet and so down to Earth. We will definitely be back!
We stayed here for just two days but it should have been more! Judith is the perfect host. She knows everything about the area, the history and the juicy stories. Plus ze makes a perfect breakfast. We loved her stories and her enthusiasm. We stayed in the Family Suite which is at the back of the house. It's a very spacious room with two large beds, a sofa, tables and airco and fan. The bathroom is modern with a walk in shower and everything you might need. You can park your car in front of the room.
I hesitantly booked 3 nights wondering what would I do for 3 nights in Jensen. Not to worry - Judith and Alan gave us great insights of things to do and see throughout our stay. The Inn is immaculately kept and the breakfast meals were all homemade, delicious and makes me still wish I was there! Judith was great at handling my dairy free, gluten free diet. Thank you so much! We got full attention from both Judith and Alan during our stay. Loved it - would definitely book with no other if going back to Dinosaur National Monument. The owners are trying to retire so the property is up for sale. Great Stay!
My husband and I have stayed in quite a few BNBs and we most always make our choice based on reviews. We are usually successful but occasionally end up at a B+ or A- place. The Jensen Inn is definitely an A++. Judith was warm and welcoming with great stories about the area and historical characters. The quarters were immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a delicious variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast, sausages and jellies. Serve yourself so that you can take as much or as little as you like if you are not a big breakfast eater. Very convent to Dinosaur National Monument and a quick drive into Vernal for dinner. Highly recommended!
