We stayed just one night while traveling from Yellowstone through Utah. Had to book the night before because we left Yellowstone early due to impending snowstorm. Easily booked over the phone the night before, great last minute rate! The hotel was clean and very nice rooms, the young lady in the breakfast room kept everything refreshed.
Ok location, not many GOOD restaurants nearby though. We got a convenient easy to get to room, however our room could have used a more thorough cleaning. Nice family run business. We would probably stay closer to the parks next time.
We stayed here 4 nights so we could do a bunch of hiking parks/canyons. worked great with location. Hotel is a bit older from neighboring ones. Price reflects that and it was all good. A breakfast is available to get you started for the day.Owner was constantly refilling items. Only thing they need is the "do not disturb" signs for room doors. we dont need room cleaned daily. Pool small, we did use hot tub and met some nice people in there. The owners that run hotel, nice people. Great area for a base to travel out.
We were traveling through from Lake Powell to St. George and wanted to stop in Hurricane because we drove through it so fast the first time. We were not on a trip to Zion National Park but we chose this hotel because of all the hotels on and off the main strip in Hurricane this one was at the furthest end which was the quietest part of the road. So, I imagine (after seeing other reviews of it's location to Zion Park) that it is closest to the Park of all the hotels in Hurricane. Anyhow, we got a great deal on the hotel - $80 for 4 people and free breakfast and a pool. A great deal. Our room was very clean and well maintained. We had no issues of any kind with our room. At check in we asked for a room that was facing the parking lot because we had our car full of all of our life belongings and the owner was very understanding and immediately gave us the room we required and told us where to park for the best view. I can not remember his name, and I usually don't forget. I like to include people's names when they are super helpful - but for some reason it has just escaped me! It started with a K and may have been 'Kay." Either way - he was always around to answer questions and help with towels and whatever we needed. Our bathroom was very clean and the bathtub was nice. Lots of towels (separate from the pool towels you get downstairs). The only thing I did not like is that the hot and cold are installed backwards on the shower. We brought food from a cooler into our room and I noticed the next day at breakfast that there is a sign not to bring breakfast food into the room. I think that is for not over eating the free breakfast not because they don't want food in the room. The rooms did have microwaves and fridges but I think they just try to keep it clean. "Kay" saw me bringing up food and didn't tell me no! The pool was clean during our visit. We weren't the only family there using it. It was perfect temperature for early August - totally refreshing. We went in the jacuzzi which was hot but not too hot for how high the outside temps were. Breakfast was decent - Standard continental breakfast with added cereals and waffles as well. So the kids were happy. The coffee wasn't bad for hotel lobby coffee and the breakfast was set up in a separate area - not in the lobby which I liked. There was also a veranda with a really nice desert view. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was a great deal and a nice hotel. We slept well, very comfy and had a nice time watching lots of channels, eating, swimming and zoning out - a great way to vacation from our vacation!…
While on a road trip, we stayed at this Quality Inn. It is a nice hotel with a nice staff. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is pretty good. There is NO elevator. The hotel is about 28 miles from the entrance to Zion so be aware of that. It isn't a bad drive but it is a drive. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a Walmart close too. I would stay here again when I go to Zion the next time.
