My sisters, mom, and I loved our stay at the Atomic Chalet! It is very clean and comfortable. Each room has a lot of natural light, but we particularly enjoyed the light and feel of Cirque. Wes was very accommodating to our needs and had breakfast ready for us at the time we requested. The fruit was plentiful and fresh and the rest delicious. There is a wonderful common room downstairs to enjoy and we loved spending time in the beautiful yard as we sat outside and visited with one another. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful place! Huntsville and Eden offer a fun getaway, and Atomic Chalet is the perfect place to stay.

My grandson and I visited Huntsville for a fishing trip. We decided to stay in Huntsville rather than drive back and forth from Ogden to save on gas. What a great decision. We discovered THE ATOMIC INN and had a fantastic stay. Wes and Kerry are terrific hosts and make you feel like family and very welcome.
Then there’s Finley and JoeJoe their two small dogs (Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier mix) who are definitely part of the family. Very well-behaved pups who like to show off their talents like shake and rollover. We have two small dogs as well and this made our visit even more like being at home.
Without a doubt, the highlight was having breakfast every morning. Wes has fresh homemade bread ready first thing and fresh coffee brewing. My grandson had Wes’s famous Atomic Breakfast Sandwich and according to my grandson without a doubt the best breakfast sandwich he has ever had. When Wes asked him if he wanted a second one, my grandson got a huge smile on his face and Wes went right to work making a second one. My grandson smiled the entire time. The next morning, we had Wes’s French toast with homemade bread of course and once again Wes knocked it out of the park.
Our weekend was very relaxed with fantastic surroundings, good company and a peaceful setting. I would highly recommend THE ATOMIC CHALET. Wes is very knowledgeable of the valley and offers great suggestions for scenery (the local ski resorts) and local eateries.

We were greeted by Wes running across the yard with his security team hard on his heels barking and giving us the once over. Once they'd had the tummies tickled and ears scratched ( the dogs not Wes) we were allowed through the door. Our room was exceptionally comfortable with a great ensuite shower room. Due to the rather severe storm on night one there was no freshly baked bread available for breakfast but the eggs were a good substitute. Wes is knowledgeable about the local area and is more than willing to recommend walks, restaurants and things to do. A great place to stay and a exceptionally friendly and helpful host

Staying at this Bed and Breakfast was a delightful experience!The house is beautiful and clean, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Wes does a great job taking care of every little thing. There is a big yard where guests can hang out as well as a nice, large eating area and family room. The location is beautiful, and Huntsville is a charming place with good restaurants. There is an arts vibe as well.

Wes and Keri made you feel at home the second you stepped onto the front porch. The entire place, inside and out, was so inviting. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was warm and delicious. We loved sitting in the beautiful yard in the morning with coffee and in the evenings before bed. Wes was a great guide for delicious local restaurants and activities.

An awesome stay. Was staying the night after a wedding at Snowbasin and what a great choice! Wes accommodated 6 of us. He was a great host and we found we had a lot in common, way back from the 70's. The rooms were clean and rustic, loved the private bathrooms. Nice common area. And he makes a mean breakfast. The weather was perfect and colors spectacular. The Atomic Chalet will be our choice when we get back in the area.

I agree with the recent views of the facility, it's clean and within walking distance of the historical center of town. It was fine that the shoes had to be left at the door. Slippers were provided. Also, the owner was knowledgeable of Huntsville. If you are looking for a place that shuts down at 9:00 p.m. and requires tip toeing around, this is the place for you. I am a quiet person and respectful; yet, I felt that I was visiting in this home with very strict rules, which is usually fine but I felt that I could not relax while there. Wifi is only available at the kitchen area, which is fine. When I first asked about booking this place I shared the fact that I needed to leave early on a Saturday morning. I am a very respectful person; yet, I was told that I needed to be quiet and not disturb the people sleeping. I understand the respect issue but if my leaving early was causing the owner concerns about moving around the facility, then I should have been directed to another place. I stayed in August and the upstairs was hot and stuffy. I realize that it has been warmer this August but the owner knew when I was checking in and it would have been nice to have the room at a comfortable temperature. Overall, no, I will not be staying here. As a respectful patron and a person who is aware of other guests, it was too much of an uptight atmosphere.

Shocked about this review, must respond. First of all…These two women were unhappy from the start when I would not allow them to bring their bicycles in the house and guestrooms. Duh? Although I was courteous and polite, we clashed a bit there and I believe that set the tone. I provided alternatives and even locked their bikes up late that night with my own cables after they had forgotten to do so themselves. Always looking after my guests best interests. a Secondly, these two came here looking for a good night’s sleep prior to a bike race the next morning. I am shocked that they were unhappy with the quiet environment I provide. Due to the intimate size of the chalet, a quiet time policy is in place after 9pm until 7am. At this time I ask that everyone be very considerate of other guests. At this time the billiard table is closed and the hot tub is closed at 10pm. I am complimented quite often regarding my policies and my guests appreciate my diligence in providing a quiet environment for sleep. Furthermore I agreed to make an exception for these two and made breakfast for them 1.5 hrs prior to normal provided that they be extra quiet at that hour in the morning. They agreed with my policies prior to the reservation so I do not know where the problem lies. As for the room being warm and stuffy upon arrival? The rooms are immaculately cleaned and closed up until guests arrive. If it is an unusually hot afternoon the air conditioner can cool the room down in less than 10 minutes. Or windows can be open and overhead fan turned on. Either way I am unaware as to what the problem was here. All I can say is you can’t please all the people all the time. But I sure try.

I live in Tooele and wanted to go somewhere close for our anniversary weekend. We booked 3 nights at the Atomic Chalet and we loved it! The owners are super friendly and even invited us to an outdoor movie party they were having with their friends 😁 They had bikes for rent for 5 dollars that my husband and I rode all around the lake. So not only was the B and B great so was the location. There is a great bike path that takes you all the way to Eden. It is right next to a wonderful beach area with a rope swing in a nice quiet neighborhood. The B and B is immaculately clean, with big rooms, and a pool table downstairs. Wonderful homemade bread for breakfast and eggs with parfait yum! We never stay in one place more than once but we will probably be back for winter fun. Thank you to the inn keepers for such a wonderful weekend!

I sort of loath going on Ski trips alone, but I love skiing so much that I get over it.
I was thinking about exploring Utah ski resorts other than Park Cities, Canyons, Deer Valley and a friend suggested Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. My friend suggested that If I were to ski these mountains, I should consider staying at the Atomic Chalet Bed & Breakfast. I checked out the web site, www.atomicchalet.com, and was impressed, so I called to see if I could book "The Bachelor" room. The proprietor, Wes Welch, returned my call from the top of one of the ski slopes and told me that the roomn was available. I booked it.
I skied for four days and stayed at the Atomic Chalet for five nights. This a a really nice B&B and Wes is the consumate host with lots of good energy and knowledge about the area and he is an excellent skier.
Enjoying apre fare around The Atomic Chalet fire pit with Wes, the other guest, and Wes' out door kitty cats was really fun! I felt like I was traveling with friends. I was able to ski with some of the other guest one day and on another, I happened upon Wes on the mountain where he took me down several fun slopes. He even offered me some valuable tips toward improving my technique.
The Atomic Chalet is @ 10 minutes from Snow Basin and @ 20 minutes from Powder Mountain. Both mountains are popular with locals and not crowded like the more touristy slopes.
The Atomic Chalet is also family friendly.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Atomic Chalet Bed and Breakfast and couldn't have had a better experience. Wes, our host, was super friendly, accommodating and very informative. He gave us great tips on area skiing, dining and sight-seeing. The B&B is immaculate and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Wes's breakfasts were fresh and delicious--made complete with homemade bread. If you are planning on staying in Huntsville you must check out the Atomic Chalet.
