Detailed Reviews
This is the best camp ground I have ever stayed at. Not only were the grounds, facilities and equipment well maintained and clean, every person on staff we dealt with were pleasant and extremely helpful. We were staying in a tent site and during our stay there was an insane rain/hail storm that moved through the canyon. There was so much water in such a short period of time, but they have the grounds setup perfectly. Our tent never flooded and the water drained so well that once the storm ended, our site was mostly dry within a couple of hours. There also wasn’t any muddy mess to deal with after either. Will absolutely stay here again.

Such a nice RV Park! The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating ! The gravel sites are well spaced and mostly level. I did notice that in the evening, they were going over the unoccupied sites with a big “roller” machine, so I think they are constantly working to keep the sites leveled.
The water pressure is really strong so you definitely need a pressure regulator. The wifi is great!
Our favorite thing about Castle Gate RV park is the little creek that runs along the back side of the park. The water is pretty fast moving over the rocks, creating that soul soothing “babbling brook” sound. The park has enhanced the creek by creating sort of a walkway all along it, with benches spaced every so often, allowing you to just sit and relax to the sounds and sights of the little creek.
There were several nice restaurants within just a few miles of the park.we ate at Grogg’s Pinnacle Brewing Co. the food was outstanding and absolutely delicious. Everything appears to be fresh, organic and homemade…to include pastas, breads and pizza crusts. The service was very good, as well!

We stayed at this park for 3 nights. It is very nicely spaced out, easy to pull into spots, within a good proximity to the highway for easy on/off, and close to the larger town of Price, Utah for grocery shopping. There are a lot of interesting things to do in the surrounding area. The down side is this park is between a highway and a railway track, so there is some noticeable noise at night from those sources. Overall, though, it was a comfortable space to park our RV. We would definitely stay here again.

We love staying at Castle Gate and we highly recommend it. well maintained, friendly staff, reasonable rates. The unisex bathroom model should be copied by more parks. Noise issues? Road noise from Hwy 6 is not an issue, and only occasionally from trains.

The facilities are amazingly clean. I was so thankful to be able to use the handicapped bathroom. It was an entire private room with a toilet, sink and shower all handicapped accessible. The laundry area was clean. The sites are spaced nicely with room to breath! The grass was mowed, the sites were cleaned and leveled after each camper. The nearby creek was nice too.

We liked it so much that we came back for a second stay! The park is only a couple of years old and is very well designed. The campsites are well spaced out and we chose a location on the riverside of the park. The bathhouses are very clean and offer separate rooms with a shower and toilet. The park is located a short walk away from the historic downtown of Helper, Utah so there is easy access to stores and restaurants. Because Helper is a railroad town, the trains can be a little noisy at night, but I think it just adds to the atmosphere.

This is a very nice RV park on the shores of the Price River. The park has recently been renovated and well worth the visit. The bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities are very clean and modern. They have pull through ass well as back-in sites with full hookups which are mostly level. The park also offers propane service as well as a nice store that sells the basics and some fun stuff.

This is the BEST campsite I’ve stayed at while road-tripping! The clean bathrooms have full size residential shower inserts , clean laundry service with good prices, adorable atmosphere and the VIEWS. Stunning. We had to alter our route out west and boy am I glad we did because we stumbled on a gem of a campsite! Will definitely return to this site.
The self registration process is a breeze (we booked a pull-through site online which was cheaper) and the facilities this site offers are exceptional. We utilized the dog park and want to come back during summer as they have a small splash pad as well! Love love love!

This is an extremely well maintained RV Campground with a mix of pull-through and back-in sites in addition to cabins and tent sites. Sites are well manicured and facilities (toilet/showers) are immaculate, a true difference from so many Campgrounds. The Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and go out their way to make you feel welcomed. Helper is a cute town that is experiencing a surge in new growth and certified International “Dark City”. The outdoor activities and trails make this location a great alternative to the over-crowded Moab.

We were on a late spring trip and dearly needed to rest the RV and ourselves. We were fortunate as it was off-season so that had plenty of spaces for us. I'm sure come later in spring and summer you'll need reservations. This place is only a few years old and it was planned very well and not a detail was overlooked. The spaces are big and nicely spaced. The laundry and bathroom/ shower facilities are really big, convenient and super nice ( yeah for a hot shower!). Location is really easy off the highway. Everything we needed was right there ..... full hookups and propane. The grounds are kept immaculate. The staff was exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful. Helper is a darling little town and lots of outdoor things to see if you enjoy the beauty of nature.
