We stayed at Rainbow Country B&B with our three small children, in the middle of a cross-country road trip and national park vacation. Even though we arrived late in the evening, we were warmly greeted by Catherine (who also didn't linger and let us get right to the business of putting our exhausted kids to bed). Our room was very... More

We stayed with Catherine and Clark for three nights. Catherine open the front door for us as we walked up the porch stairs. We felt welcome immediately! Our room was clean, comfortable and perfect! The great room downstairs was perfect for relaxing and regrouping after a day of exploring. The wrap around front porch was great for watching the sunset... More

Unfortunately we stayed only one night in this outstanding place. Catherine were the most perfect host we had on our road trip coming from LV heading to Mexican Hat. The breakfast was perfect in the same manner. We got asked at which time we like to have our breakfast in the morning. We stayed as a party of 3 in... More

We absolutely loved our two night stay! Clean, welcoming, and so peaceful. Great breakfast each morning and the owners are extremely knowledgeable about the area and excursions that would fit your interests.

This is the place to stay in Escalante, whether you're a hiker, a car tourer, or just passing through. Catherine is a delightful host with a deep knowledge and appreciation for this beautiful part of the country. We very much appreciated her tips on the best hikes and bi-ways to explore. The Burr Trail road, suggested by her and which... More

This is all that you hope a b&b is going to be. Catherine's welcome is delightful, the room was very comfortable and quiet, and you can sleep off the day's hiking, and all facilities are offered. The breakfasts are excellent, and Catherine's advice about eating out in Escalante, and about good hiking and sightseeing opportunities in the area, are second... More

we where at Escalante for the last days of March 2016, we thought weather was going to be nice but suddenly temperature dropped to 24Fº with strong winds we where planning on doing the golden cathedral hike and coyote gulch so Catherine advised us about better suitable hikes for those days, she was so kind and full of important information,... We spent Easter weekend at Rainbow Country and were delighted with our hosts and accommodations. Catherine and Clark welcomed us warmly into their home. We stayed in the basement in the Pioneer room with very comfortable beds and a nice big window, so it didn't feel like being in a basement. We never heard noise from any of the other... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Rainbow Country B&B yesterday. We had a reservation glitch at another place, and called after finding ourselves without a place to stay after a long day of hiking. Cathy took us and our small dog in without any hesitation. We felt like we were treated like long lost friends. Our room/bathroom was spacious... More

In this tiny town of about 20 houses and business, find Rainbow B & B. It was a comfortable homey room in the basement of a large country home. Breakfast was delicious and our hostess a delight. My most memorable part of our visit was the hummingbirds, dozens of them, that flitted from the bushes to her porch railings.
