Our second stay at this CG. We love the hiking in the area and the town of Escalante is a great base. The CG here is kept lovely by the gracious couple who care it. They are helpful, friendly and great communicating. The sites are gravel, level, easy to navigate and all services top notch. Showers and laundry were clean and the Wi-Fi pretty decent. We will stay here again when we return. The food truck offers great Mexican fare right in the CG!
First time to stay in Escalante and this RV Park. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Why? Because it odd one of the cleanest RV parks we have ever stayed in. The proprietor (Lady, Mrs Welch) was incredibly nice, Extremely helpful and such a pleasant person. 5 out of 5 stars!
We stayed in one of the cabins and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hostess who checked us in was very friendly and gave us options of the location for our stay according to what we were looking for example secluded sunrise and sunset view, forest view or social butterfly area in the middle of the property Beautiful surroundings with the most amazing night sky that you can view from your bed! The bed was so comfortable with nice pillows. The shower was great with nice products included. We definitely recommend staying in this unique find.
Canyons of Escalante RV Park has been our destination of choice for the art festival for the past 5 years. The full hookups are great. The showers are really nice. The location is ideal with 5 places to eat within walking distance, including Circle D, 4th West Pub and Escalante Outfitters. In fact, Georgie’s Outdoor Mexican Restaurant is at the RV park!
The hosts were so helpful. The space was level. The restrooms and showers were updated and very clean. We didn’t use the laundry but it was also very nice! If you are looking for a place to stay I would highly recommend Staying here. The only drawback was the spacing of the sites were very close.
We stayed for five nights with four other couples and we all gave the park a thumbs up. The spaces are roomy enough, and the bathrooms and showers are meticulously clean and well maintained. The cozy gathering area with a small pavilion and fire pit worked perfectly for our group to gather and hang out. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They know the area well and gave us great ideas for beautiful hikes, amazing slot canyons to explore, and cool restaurants in the area to visit. While most of us had camping trailers, one couple stayed in a cabin and loved it. We will definitely be back!
Joined friends here for 3 days of exploring area. We Loved this place. Cozy cabin 5 w porch was perfect Showers very close and super clean. Courtyard area is off the road so quiet place to eat on tables enjoy fire pit while sitting on porch. We all enjoyed our stay.
Nice park, Nice location Nice folks, Very quiet. Our needs were to be able to ride trails without trailering our atv's and this was perfect. If you're looking for a campground to be able to ride from, this is one. Would definitely stay again.
The camp hosts are overbearing and do not like large groups, especially those with children. They literally have nothing to do but constantly harass campers. They enforce all of the rules on the campers but they don’t hold themselves accountable. Their dogs can be off leash but your dog cannot. They trespass through your campsite constantly. Also, please be aware that traffic slow signage is weak at best and you will find yourself getting screamed at for going the wrong way.
The staff was very helpful, the restroom common areas were immaculate. We stayed on a Sunday night in 2 of the cabins, the grounds were very quiet at night. We were the only group to use fire pits, felt like we should be more quiet due to the proximity of the tents. The price is very reasonable. Would stay here again, just know that it’s probably not a place you want to be rambunctious at.
