I stayed here while doing some hiking & photography in the Escalante area. There is a restaurant on the premises. If you are a hiker, you would really like this motel. My room had hiking books for the Escalante area. I will stay here again.

The Circle D motel was simple and clean. It was a great place to stage our adventure into the backcountry in the jeep and see the slot canyons. It is perfect place to get a great night sleep and a hot shower after hiking all day. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about the area and the sights. Each room...

The check in was easy and the clerk was very informative. He gave us a lot of good ideas on things to do in the area. This is a very small town. There are not a lot of restaurant choices. No way does Circle D deserve a four-star. There is no pool, no hot tub, no breakfast. You must go...

Circle D, old style motel, but that's what we like to find. nice and clean and Robert was very amiable and helpful. we loved an actual working window in the bathroom, too. the king bed was surprisingly comfortable. always bring...

Escalante has only 800 townies. Options can be limited. Circle d is not a 5 star hotel in a big city. Items are a bit dated, the bathrooms have older style fixtures, tv is small (but who wants to stare at the tv in this country) etc. But for the location it is perfect. We stayed in a suite that...

We were 8 touring SE Utah. This was our last stop. Robert, the manager, was very helpful as we had to adjust our reservations several times. We arrived early, but were able to put all our equipment in our rooms. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. It is very quiet at night. We rented one room with...

Owner is very nice, interested in your hikes, provides good advice on where to hike. Tile floors nice to keep a dog cool when it's hot. Close to good dog walking areas. Recycling bin. Large enough freezer in mini fridge for half gallon milk jugs. Comfortable beds.

I needed a place to stay for one night. I was in town to hike a slot canyon. Circle D was a perfect choice. It is a small privately run motel. The rooms are simple and clean. There is a restaurant attached, but I did not eat there. I did leave some needed paperwork in the room. Circle D called...

Superb place to stay and use as a hub to explore the area. Basic room with microwave and fridge. No frills place. Clean rooms with helpful staff. Our room had a selection of guide and hiking books and information. No breakfast included. Overall a great stay. Would stay here again.
