We were in Southern Utah to see the five national parks and a few state parks as well, so we stayed in a different hotel every night for 9 nights. Entrada Escalante Lodge was the best of the best! We landed there about halfway through our trip, right after my husband said, "I don't think I packed enough shirts." I rolled my eyes and said, "Guess we will hit a Wal-mart or something!" Enter Escalante Lodge with their FREE for guests' laundry machine right outside our front door! In addition, our room was stocked with a small variety of snacks and a full (minus the stove) kitchen. The bathroom/shower was beautiful and I didn't want to get out of the cozy bed to move on the next day! If we ever travel back to this area we will definitely stay at Entrada Escalante again!

The laundry gets 'em every time! Haha - we're so happy you enjoyed the amenities and your time with us overall! To be considered your best stay in 9 nights doing the Big 5 is extremely humbling and we can't thank you enough for your kind words. :) Next time you're in the area, be sure to give us a call so we can see your smiling face again! <3

Built in a sort-of Adobe style, our room was a suite with a full mini kitchen and a backyard patio with grill. A lockbox accommodated our late arrival from Hell’s Backbone Grill. The lodge is on Utah Route 12, which is a trip you must take … red rocks on a scale that must be seen to be comprehended. And the Escalante Lodge is a very-nice midpoint place to stay.

We couldn't agree more that Scenic Byway 12 is quite a treat - there's a reason most consider it the most beautiful road in the US, and we agree with that statement wholeheartedly! <3 We're so happy you enjoyed your time with us here in this area - Hell's Backbone is such an amazing choice for dinner as well. :) Come back & see us soon on your travels!

This is a wonderful place to use as a base camp during your exploration of Grand Staircase-Escalante NM. Everything you need & very comfortable. From eating outside on the deck, to relaxing in the A/C.

Stayed 3 nights in king suite. Very comfortable and clean. Had to take short drives to trailheads as most trail heads are out of town. Well worth the drives as it has some spectacular scenery. Easy walking distance to restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances; I can’t comment on them as we only used the coffee maker (good coffee provided). The only nit was the plates were chipped so we didn’t use them. Complimentary washer and dryer which was a nice touch after hiking all day. As always the rudeness of the American public never ceases to amaze as another guest dumped our laundry from the washer. We will be back in the Fall or next Spring.

Thank you so much for your review! We do try our best to keep up on the deterioration of our stock, however it seems we missed some - thank you so much for alerting us to this issue! Do note that you're welcome to contact us at anytime during your stay and we're happy to replenish stock with new dinnerware or silverware we have in stock! :) I'm also so sorry to hear that other guests may have not used their best judgement in handling your laundry items - I sincerely apologize on behalf of the lodge for this inconvenience. We're hoping that upon expansion, we can open our housekeeping laundry room to guests, opening up an additional washer & dryer for our customer's needs. :) Feel free to reach out for any updates on that front! We very much look forward to seeing you during your future visits. <3

This place was absolutely perfect! Very clean, updated and comfy. Nice little deck and all the amenities you need after a grueling day hiking. My husband and I hiked all the slot canyons and took amazing pictures in a very unique experience. We did Zion first, then Escalante on our way down to Sedona. Personally, this experience was well worth the extra stop. I don’t feel the need to ever go to Sedona again but I would love to take my friends and family to see the slot canyons in escalante one more time and stay at this awesome little lodge! Ps don’t speed too much on hole in the rock road! We got a flat! Luckily the local shop patched it first thing in the morning and it wasn’t an issue.

Your PS is extremely good advice! We've had multiple customers this year with flat tire issues, so to all reading - always ensure the vehicle you have has a spare & ideally 4WD to avoid any unstable road issues that can occur! Other than that, we can't thank you enough for your review & sweet words and do hope to see you again in the future! :)
