We come here because we are more interested in the beauty of the scenery off the balcony and all around us and the great snowboarding just outside the door. We are close enough here to meet our snowboarding kids at the Hidden Lake lift for lunch midday or the children can come in midday if they get tired by themselves....

...and not in a good way. There is very poor phone service (the desk clerk suggested trying to connect while standing inside the basketball court in the main building!... how convenient) if that won't work you can always drive up the hill about a mile and hope to catch a connection, sure, that's better. As far as internet... you can...

There is a widening/paving operation underway for the road leading to the Powder Ridge Village. The road was less than 40 feet from our unit's balcony and trucks roared past at least every 2 minutes all day long and used the entry to the condos as their 'turn around' spot, backing into the facility with constant beeping warning alarms. Adding...

I vacation with my family every summer. We go to different places using a timeshare exchange. This summer we decided to visit Utah and wound up at Powder Ridge Village. The resort experience is usually one of my favorite parts about going on vacation. Of course, there are some that I have been to that have not been as nice...

All games in game room were out of order, severely damaged, or charged extra money to use. No computer in lobby and slow unreliable dial up internet. They charge for everything- for DVD player, DVD rentals, computer use (which was also broken), phone use, had to pay for fire in your condo fireplace, etc.... Room was not clean, doors didn't...

I booked a 3 bedroom unit thinking (thanks to my brother) that it was located in ogden valley. Found out the hard way that it was up at the top of the mountain. The cons were that you feel pretty secluded up there in the off season and the maid Olga did not do a thorough cleaning. Besides the dust,...

If you want to ski or hike at near Powder Mountain you can't beat this location. If you are going to use it as a base to ski at other Utah resorts you might want to reconsider. You will be driving up and down a 12-16% grade in the winter. The 2 bedroom unit was fine size wise, but needed...

We were invite to stay at Powder Ridge by our boat partners who have points with RCI. Before we arrived they sent us a email to limit our expectations. They knew we were use to the large European style ski villages found at such places as Beaver Creek and Whistler. Powder Mountain is in its own category. I would call...

I was a little worried when we booked because of some negative reviews I read but was pleasantly surprised. We were in a two bedroom and two bath unit in the Aspin Ridge building as four adults and a toddler. There was plenty of room without being on top of eachother. The view was stunning when you could see through...

Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Ski in, ski out was great, it is so remote that you really are "off the grid". New management since the "Not for summer" review shows they have turned things around. Powder Mountain is not a glitzy, expensive mountain teeming with nighlife, but it has 10 square miles of skiing, some...
