We stayed in the Moose Cabin 3 years ago and it was nice. Stayed there again in September and it is completely run down. $139 and suppose to have dishes, etc. for the kitchen. No coffee cups and only 2 glasses. You need matches to lite the gas stove but none were provided. Blinds were broken and hung towels on...

This place is actually called Dutch John Resort. It has changed. The main building has had a facelift. The cabin we stayed in way only $50 a night. Killer deal. Clean. It had a comfortable mattress as well. Slept four. It was a basic cabin but they have better ones with more amenities.

We rented a 2-man cabin for the front- and back-ends of a fly fishing drift. Perfect, clean and basic accommodations for bookending the drifting/fishing/tenting trip of the beautiful Green below the Flaming Gorge dam. Priced appropriately. Very good café, fly shop and fishing advice. Shuttle if needed.

Considering you are literally out in the middle of nowhere, this Flyfishing Cabin was a welcomed sight! The manager of the convenience store and cafe was extremely friendly and even kept the cafe open later than usual just to feed us. The cabin could sleep up to 10 people, had a kitchenette, had wi-fi, and was very reasonably priced @...

My car broke down here and I was stuck here for 6 nights. The first night I was put in a cabin that was totally prefab....seemed like a mobile home with a wooden exterior, bed mattress was a foam pad and very unconfortable. They wanted to charge me $150/NIGHT.....no way. I got it for $75/night. The other days I was...

“If you're traveling from northern Colorado (and your vehicle is reliable and the roads are dry) take highway 318 northwest out of Maybell, CO from Hwy 40. Gorgeous drive that connects with Browns Park Road at the UT state line.”
