Cabin was just fine and well laid out. Dining was good and service at front desk was very adequate. The location suited us perfectly for the short drive to the Red Canyon Overlook and Visitors Centre.

My husband and I had a wonderful Sunday enjoying the amenities that Red Canyon Lodge has to offer. We were greeted with a smile on a very early morning by Kirsten at the gift shop who sent us to Debbie and Tom, the Wranglers that would take us horseback riding. Tom was full of fun facts about the area and... More

We stopped here for lunch yesterday, and I must say it was excellent. I ordered the garden vegetable pasta, and I was very pleased. My guys were also happy with theirs. We had dessert, too, and the bill wasn't too outrageous. The portions were quite large, and I couldn't even finish mine.

If you're in the area, there are very few hotels choices, and this is probably the best. It's located away from town, and you're in the trees. The cabins are pretty basic, but they're quaint. The property is well maintained. Fire wood is provided for your cabin's fire pit. There is even a restaurant on site (the food is not... More

We stayed here for two nights in July at this lovely cabin overlooking a man-made lake. It was so peaceful and you could walk to the Overlook for the beautiful Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The management was very good and the cabins were up to date and very comfortable. They have a restaurant on the property and it's fun to see... More

Spacious cabin overlooking the Green Lake with excellent fishing. Cabin had all the amenities of home. Clean and comfy. Had a wood stove but we couldn't get it to work. Boats and bicycles to rent. Pond for the kids to fish in. Nice Restaurant on the premises. Went horseback riding with Debbie of the Red Canyon Lodge Stables. This is... More

We booked this prior to travelling and the cabins are great, very luxurious and looked out over the Lake. We had the Alpine cabin and travelling down CO191 to get there we saw a lot of wildlife including an Eagle and Pronghorn antelope. The whole area is very scenic and the nearby WY44 and WY 218 are worth the drive... More

Thank you for your review, we certainly appreciate the time you took to write such a great review! The cabins are nice, the restaurant and gift shop offer great service and even better food. Try the horseback riding, which is great for beginners. Fishing, sightseeing and hiking are right there, and the Flaming Gorge is just a short drive away. It's an outdoor oasis that I can't recommend enough!

We do the loop from Rock Springs every year. The ability to sit among the pines , eating your meal surrounded by hundreds of hummingbirds flitting around is WONDERFUL!
