Let's just say that this is an adorable hotel, however, being a city girl, I am NOT used to a small town country lifestyle. We stayed in the "suite' and the air conditioner wasn't adequate enough to cool the entire room, which was frustrating being that it was 100 degrees that

Hey, Danielle! Thanks for giving us your opinion; we're sorry that the spiders turned you off of our place, and if I remember correctly, that day was pretty crazy in terms of weather--it usually stays pretty far below that, and we had not been running the AC in there all day, so it got away from us. Again, thank you for being honest. Customers that give us their feedback immediately, like you did, are always appreciated. Safe travels--if you ever want to give us another try, we'll be right here! Safe travels.

This review is written months after our visit. We stayed in the suite which is attached to the owner's residence. The suite, which has a kitchen, is large, clean and comfortable. Not a downside, but guests should be aware that stairs are involved, so if they are elderly and/or

This is one of the most thorough reviews we have ever received! Thanks for taking the time to detail your thoughts, and please feel welcome to come back any time. I absolutely agree that the bathroom in 11 is a little cramped, but we are lucky that it is the only room that has that downside. I will keep the hair dryer comment in mind, and we might change that in the future. Thanks again for staying with us; safe travels!

We stayed at Blonquist Motel for a night while we were in the area. This is an older motel but don't let that fool you, it was cleaner than many of the 5 start hotels I've stayed at in major cities. The staff is friendly and helpful and they take very good care of this little

Is really the rear part of their home. Only complaint is the lack of screens on the windows. We kept the patio door open to enjoy the nice weather but a cat came in, so we had to close it. Very friendly & helpful service. Full size appliances, nearly new & working good.

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed! LOVED the hardwood floors, and the retro bathroom. We were greeted by the owner's grandson who was so friendly and helpful. We just needed a few hours of sleep, but wish we could have stayed longer. I would have loved to walk

Glad to hear you liked it! The name can be a bit confusing. It is best to think of it as a business name with a tagline: "Blonquist Motel: A country place." We're also thrilled to hear that our attention to cleanliness has paid off. We hope to see you the next time you are stopping through!

Thanks for asking, Julie! We get this one often, so I hope we can answer yours and a few others at the same time. Since our rooms and availability vary so often, all weekly or monthly negotiations are managed by our aptly-titled manager. Please give us a call [our toll-free is (800) 371-2451] and mention that you are looking for monthly arrangements; ask for Amberly. Thanks again for the contact! Talk to you soon.

Sorry to be so late on this, but I believe the answer will be useful for other travelers. We absolutely accommodate crate-trained pets, and as of this response, the per-pet fee is $10. Guests are always welcome to call (or walk in) and ask about this.
