For someone who grew up camping for a week every summer in Bullfrog staying here was A-mazing! Made our trip so much better. Haven't been to Powell in about 15 years and I'm telling you it was a night a day difference than I'm used too. Brought our family of 6 and had a the best experience. Basically we were... More

We are a family of 5 stayed at the family units at The Defiance House ( basically a trailer). The size was GREAT but I wouldn't allow my kids to even sit on any of the furniture without a sheet covering it- D I R T Y/ stained...the refrigerator was dirty & the bottom drawer of the refrigerator hadn't been... Brian and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their knowledge and advice about the area was appreciated, as were the warm smiles and chats we received throughout our stay. The lodge is modern and very clean and comfortable and the restaurant had a lot of variety and all meals were delicious! And did... More

Front desk was good at getting us all checked in. rooms where great. very clean and what a beautiful view of the lake. We all congregated outback along the backside of the rooms and watched the boats run around the lake. see if you can see our sign down on the rocks. SCHOG inc. This is the only game in town, fortunately they are a good place to stay. Hardly anyone here. Even at busier times, there is room for vehicle with boat trailers in the parking lot. The check-in was quick. I was surprised they put us upstairs as due to the lack of vehicles in the parking lot, I would assume there... More

The hotel itself is run down and kinda dingy. It has a comfortable bed, coffee, and friendly people. The view is FANTASTIC. I watched the sun set from our porch that faced the marina. I spent my evening watching the bouys blink out over the water. Its dark enough here that you can get a great view of the Milky... More

Employees friendly and helpful, bed comfortable, food good, and Dog welcome. Location at the Lake is perfect when weather prevents Houseboat accessibility. Excellent historic portrayal of the Anasazi Indians through decorations.

If this place was more affordable, I would give it an above average rating. Check in was relatively quick. The is plenty of parking for those towing boat trailers. The hallways seemed a little dark. The room was dark. The bathroom was small. If I remember correctly, we had a microwave and fridge. The room was clean and I would... More

Came down to put our boat away and splurged on a room at the lodge. Queen bed was so old or broken that you sunk a foot into the mattress. There was trash behind the Nite stand. The folks next door smoked on their deck which drifted into our room. Three dogs next door that barked every time someone walked... More

We were charged a week after we checked out for "damages" which I know did not happen. When I called nobody could tell me what they were for or any specifics! Only that we may have damaged washcloths or towels. It was ridiculous, so they gave us a refund for that fee. There is a warning sign in each room... More
