PROS: ~Short drive to Bryce Canyon park from the hotel. ~Grand inviting lobby with fireplace, seasonal decor, chairs, coffee. ~Newish, clean, large hotel. ~Free outdoor parking. ~Buffet breakfast included in a large breakfast room. Breakfast items included fruit, baked goods, cold cereal, yogurt, hot items. Tea, coffee, juice. They use real plates and utensils, not plastic/paper, which is great. ~Outdoor pool and an indoor one available to patrons at the BW across the street. Outdoor pool was closed in November when we were there. ~We had a large suite room with a couch, microwave, fridge, long mirror, iron, extra blanket. ~Quiet ~Pod coffee machine in room. ~Extra towels in room. ~Business center off lobby. ~Gym CONS: ~No housekeeping unless requested. ~Outdoor parking would be better if it was covered -- we were there after it snowed and spent 20+ minutes getting the snow and ice off the car. ~The general area is a bit sparse on restaurants. I recommend Bryce Canyon Pines, four miles away. We ate there twice. ~The room was quite dimly lit. ~Fridge in room was loud. If you found this review useful, please click the thank button. Thanks.

Hotel's Favorite
A very nice , modern and comfortable hotel close to the Park’s entrance. The lobby was spacious and uncrowded. We stayed on the fourth floor. The rooms were nice and up-to-date, frig and coffee machine. Beds were comfortable and good a/c and heat. The staff was pleasant and efficient when we ordered extra blankets. There is a gym and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Included in the price was a full breakfast buffet which was ample and very good. We stocked up for our hikes and were given carry out containers - nice. The one drawback was the lack of dining facilities (other than the morning buffet). For that, we had to drive to its sister hotel, the Best western Ruby’s Inn. (Pls note that we stayed at the BW Plus Grand). The cost of our stay was expensive and not the greatest value but that was the market price in May 2021 but it was well worth it for us. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good: fresh fruit, a good assortment of warm dishes and plenty of other choices. The location of the hotel is also good: very close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon, opposite of Ruby's with the store and supermarket, and close to Tropic for restaurants.

Very nice place to stay near Bryce Canyon NP (about 5 minutes away). Our room was large (double queen), clean, and loaded with the amenities you need. Breakfast was an expansive buffet. The first day the dining room was mobbed but the second day no problem finding a table. Coffee was available anytime we went to the lobby. Would suggest staying here for your trip to Bryce Canyon NP.

Service 5/5 - The front desk and resturant staff is very nice. Rooms 4/5 - The room is nice, spacious, and modern. However bedsheets didn’t smell too well. Walls are also not soundproofs and unfortunately our neighbors both above and beside us are very loud. Value 5/5 - Its cheap considering not only can you get 2 QUEEN beds for under 200! Food 5/5 - The place has one of the best breaks a fast buffet for a Best Western. I was very impressed. Overall 4.75/5 - Just needed to have clean bedsheets, but very good hotel to stay at if coming to Bryce!

Stayed 11/18 - 11/20 in their double queen bed room on the second floor.. A family weekend vacation with 2 adults and 1 child.. celebrating the hubby's birthday. The room - was super spacious and so was the bathroom with double vanity sink with toilet and bath separated. Also had a good size closet, drawer, refrigerator w/ freezer, microwave, desk, and tv.. but was a little surprised that they didn't have a small dining table with chairs. We had to eat our to-goed food on their desk.. with only 2 chairs to sit on. The bathtub was small. Beds were comfortable and clean. The view was nonexistent compared to Zion. Pool was closed.. of course.. it was freezing! Spa and gym were open. Breakfast buffet was ok. The boys loved their breakfast sausages. The breakfast potatoes were good. They had waffles, pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruits, yogurts, bagels, white and wheat bread, biscuit and gravy, pastries, hot chocolate, tea, hot coffee, orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, milk, etc. The buffet station was being very well stocked by the employees. They even have to go containers if you want to take it to your room. Breakfast is 6:30-9:30am and coffee is available in the lobby area until 8:30pm. Location - perfect! Only a 5 min drive to the Bryce Canyon National Park. The shuttles were not in service during our visit. Service - Everyone we came across were nice. We got extra toiletries, coffee, and towels delivered to our room promptly. No cleaning service during our stay but one call and they will bring over whatever you need. For about $100/night, I think this place is good.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great, the common areas and room were clean, the breakfast buffet was an excellent break from your standard hotel breakfast, and the location was perfect. Even the laundry room was clean with new machines that worked great.

We visited Bryce Canyon at the end of December 2021 as part of a long road trip through the southwest, spending two nights at the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. There is a lodge in Bryce Canyon National Park itself, but it is closed in winter, reducing the options for lodging, with the nearest being the mostly commercial settlement just north of the park entrance. It includes a few hotels, some stores and services. We stayed at the Best Western Plus, a large modern motel/lodge. It is nothing very special but it is nice with some nice decor, an attractive, large lobby. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the prices reasonable. Since there were three of us and we like plenty of room, we got a large family room which was very spacious and attractive. The rate was particularly good since it included a good breakfast buffet. This was simple but good, with eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc., along with cereal, pancakes, and toast and fruit. This was convenient given the limited options in the area. it is just outside the entrance to the park and next to most of the other services.

Check in was smooth, the concierge explained everything clearly. The property is well maintained. The room was spacious and housekeeping had done a perfect job. Breakfast was okay too. The only regret is that I stayed for only one day due to an adjustment in my itinerary.

The hotel is located just at the entrance of the park and has a big parking with plenty of space. The lobby, used also for the breakfast, is clean and very well furbished. A fireplace makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean; breakfast is served with real dishes and cutlery, this is a very nice change in comparison with many other hotels of the same class. The staff (roomkeeping, reception and breakfast) is very friendly and helpful. Well done Best Western! A place to recommend and where to return.
