We love brighton and ski there regularly. In theory staying at the lodge should have been a dream. Location perfect, simple accommodations , but that wasn't a problem. being woken up at 2 am and 5 am by grooming machines ...not so much.

Just finished a 4 day late season ski vacation. If you are looking for 5-star accomodations, then you should probably head over to Park City. If you are looking for an excellent value just steps away from lifts, then you should consider BL. The facilities, rooms and hot tub are clean and well maintained in addition to the staff being... The accomodations are "rustic", but clean and have everything you need. There are no TV's, phones, or Wifi, but there are cell signals in the canyon if you really need to get online. The place is right next to Brighton Center and the Majestic lift, you can ski right up to the lodge. Checkin nd checkout were easy and no... More

Remember this is a rustic lodge. It's like a small motel on the mountain. If you go there with that mindset you will love the place like we did. This place is fantastic! Ski in Ski out from Crest express, slight walk to majestic and ski school but its no big deal. The rooms are very clean. The people that... More

My friend and I just finished 5 days and 4 nights at Brighton. It was truly an amazing experience. The negative reviews are here because people were expecting the Ritz Carlton. It is a 50 year old building! The fact that I can Board or Ski right up to my hotel room door, or walk 00 feet to the main... More

If you are looking for beautiful scenery, great location, and a well run mountain getaway, I highly recommend the Brighton Lodge. Places like this are rare these days. If you are looking for fast pace, glitz, and night life...well keep looking. Many families have been regulars for years and years. Our room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and while... I need to start this review to admit I have been coming to Brighton Lodge for 20+ years. I have traveled the world skiing and have not found a better VALUE in skiing and TRUE slopeside accomodations. The people that have posted negative reviews do not mention what they paid to stay here. 2 people can stay here for less... More

Accomodations here were clean and comfortable. Really- I would stay here again in a flash. First, the location is tremendous- right on the mountain; Second, our room was tidy and spotless; Third, the lobby was a blast from the past; Fourth, the price was good; Fifth, there was a great outdoors hottub. The manager - Monika Dietz was just great.... More

The hot tub was a welcome accomodation but everything else was sub-par. It was run down, more college dorm like. The sink was dirty and the room didn't have a phone to call the front desk. We settled into the bed tired from a drive from Moab. About an hour after we went to bed we were awakened to the... More

If the staff could get any more friendlier and hospitable I would be looking at the Pearly Gates! If you are looking for a vacation that is all comfort and relaxing.....you will love this! Yes, it is an older building with cinder blocks, not alot of frill, just plenty of time to read, talk, nap, and ski. We literally woke... More

“Rooms slope side are nice, but if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs because the snocats head out down the trail next to the lodge at midnight every night to groom. If you want to add night skiing and boarding, or an extra day, see Monika. She has the hookup for lodge guests,”

“Get a room on the mountain side. Not only is it prettier, it's easier to get to the lifts and quieter (no snowplow sounds!). Our room was on the second floor facing the mountain and it was perfect. Room name was "Canyon"”
