After hiking in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, we were really thirsty for a nice cold beer. We found this gem of a place on the way up to Solitude. It is a perfect place for a meal, pint and relaxation on their outside deck.

Felt like I was in the Swiss Alps--beautiful landscape while enjoying our entrees out on the deck. Absolutely pleasant and quite a pleasant time had by all! The waiter/waitress are truly friendly and so very nice!

Some parking outside. Interesting building with a history. Outside dining area at rear with awning to provide shade. Excellent food, large variety of alcoholic beverages, good food. Several Hummingbird feeders around and the birds were active

Silver fork lodge is up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Alta is up Little Cottonwood Canyon, you will be going down then back up. It will take approximately 45 minutes, that is weather permitting. Solitude and Brighton ski resorts are much closer to Silver Fork. Solitude is 2 minutes away and Brighton is 5 minutes away. Enjoy our beautiful snow which ever place you go.
