Our Dinner was delightful..Living and Loving the Great Outdoors!!! Felt like I was in the Swiss Alps--beautiful landscape while enjoying our entrees out on the deck. Absolutely pleasant and quite a pleasant time had by all! The waiter/waitress are truly friendly and so very nice!

Silver Fork Lodge is one of my favorite places for lunch or dinner after a long mountain bike. The outdoor terrace offers views over the mountains and has gas heaters. My favorite dish is the large grilled tomatoes with mozzarella, basil and roaster garlic bulbs baked in balsamic vinaigrette. My husband loves the home baked turkey sandwich. Banquettes are also... Some parking outside. Interesting building with a history. Outside dining area at rear with awning to provide shade. Excellent food, large variety of alcoholic beverages, good food. Several Hummingbird feeders around and the birds were active

Skiing in Utah is a slightly different proposition for those used to European skiing, however, to get the absolute best of the slopes around Salt Lake City your best option is the Silver Fork! The rooms are cosy (the beds especially comfortable), the lodge and restaurant are lovely (the breakfast was the best we had in the US) and the... More

We were driving along the Big Cottonwood Canyon and decided to stop for a warm drink to enjoy the scenery. I had noticed The Silver Fork Lodge on our way up the mountain so we pulled in on our way back down. We lucked out that it was early on a Sunday morning since you could tell this place was... More

We have eaten here several times through the years. It is a solid, consistent restaurant and lodge. Dan the owner has his hands all over the place and I have never had a bad experience here. Try the Ahi Tuna "Nachos: Amazing. Seared Red Trout Salad is a never tiring favorite. Can't go wrong with anything, the specials can be... More

We ate both a breakfast and a lunch here. Ruben sandwich was excellent as were the sourdough pancakes... with blueberries added. Yum! Attentive, friendly service and better prices than in nearby Solitude. This place is brilliant!

Silver Fork is undoubtedly a five star restaurant. This is the place my entire family takes friends and relatives when we want somewhere that won't let us down. They continually exceed our expectations. I used Silver Fork for my wedding reception in December 2014. When we arrived a tad late, they had already set up our wedding decorations!!! Without even... This is one of my favorite places to eat in the entire Salt Lake City area. We've been going regularly for over 10 years. The mountain ambiance is perfectly rustic. The restaurant is a small comfortable area with an excellent view and has a warm wood burning fireplace. Whether you go in winter or in summer the views are magnificent.... More

My wife and I decided to have a short day of skiing at Solitude and return home for some Saturday football. On our way down Big Cottonwood Canyon we said, why not, let's stop for a bite to eat. We had driven by Silver Fork Lodge several times but this was our first experience inside. Well, we now feel that... More
