Detailed Reviews
The service was friendly and fast this morning. We often take our visitors to Silver Fork as we love the beautiful setting, great service, and delicious food. We have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. In the Winter, there is a warm fire crackling inside the restaurant.

I stayed at the Silver Fork Lodge for 4 nights on my own during the record-breaking winter of February, 2023. I was delighted by my time here and would recommend it strongly. To be fair the lodge lives up to the descriptor on its own matchbooks as "rustic," this is not the place for the Park City crowd. But, for anyone who values authenticity and character in a ski lodge the Silver Fork can't be beat. I relished the two meals a day at the Silver Fork as the quality was high and the portions meant for folks spending a big day outside. The bar at the Silver Fork is an all time classic.
One word of caution: I relied on the Utah Ski Bus service to ferry my back and forth to Solitude, which is only a few miles up the mountain from the lodge, and found the service regrettably unreliable. As of my time there were far too few busses in service - apparently due to a lack of drivers resulting from poor pay and quality of life - and so whenever the snow conditions drew crowds to go skiing the busses were full to capacity and hours late. Local sentiment seemed to hold that when they worked well the busses could be a very helpful option; let's hope the planning function resolves the limited capacity.

Could not be more pleased with my GF's and my stay at the Silver Fork Lodge. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the in-house restaurant has the best damn pancakes on this side of the Mississippi. Rooms are full of rustic charm, and the wifi is strong as necessary. Location is perfect for any and all excursions in Little Cottonwood Canyon and it's a thrilling 30 min drive to Park City (via the open pass in summertime). Will absolutely be back for ski season this winter. Looks like they do weddings on site as well, and I can't imaging a cuter place to celebrate a special occasion. Will absolutely be recommending to friends for years to come!

Our group stayed in 3 of the rooms for 4 nights over Christmas. I can not say enough about their customer service. The manager Eric was sincerely interested in our comfort. He stopped by our group in the livingroom every evening to chat and make sure everything thing was alright. Breakfasts were fabulous. What a way to start our day. We hadn't planned on eating all our dinners at the lodge but after the first night we were hooked. The blistered pepper appetizer, apres ski tacos, Silver Fork bison burger, golden beet salad and meatloaf were our favorites. Bella and Alex catered to our every need. The lodge is simple and rustic but the personalized attention earned it the 5 stars.

Silver Fork Lodge is on the access road in Little Cottonwood Canyon, on the way to and from Brighton and Solitude resorts. It's a bit of a hole in the wall by outward appearance, by inside it's a friendly, rustic and charming place with a cool bar area and nice dining room. The menu is reasonably large, and there's some meat and game among the options. The wine list is large, though contains little that's interesting, but lots of people pleasers on it nonetheless.

I work for a couple of large hotel brands so I normally wouldn’t pick this location first, but I’m glad we did. We couldn’t ask for more in a location to the resorts and setting. Alex was so welcoming when I popped in to see if we could check in a day early. He went above and beyond in helping us get into rooms early. Thank you!! Plenty of space and plenty of parking. The showers were nice and hot with plenty of pressure. The restaurant did close early as night skiing was over for the season and seems everyone adjusts hours accordingly. Not a big deal at all as we knew this and planned for it. Just bummed we missed it…breakfast was outstanding every morning so I’m sure dinner would be too! Thanks to everyone for a great stay!

Indifferent server (Jaileen?) is the cause of a very much anticipated and very mediocre restaurant breakfast experience. I was the only customer and had to request coffee twice, answer for the second time “no egg” when she asked again what type of egg I wanted and came back again because she forgot my toast order.
While standing near me with a colleague she complained out loud about her jobs that she didn’t like etc. ….in the dining room!
Absolutely clueless but it clarified for me why there was no one in the restaurant at 10:15 am. Right people, right seats? Not this time!

I had the burrito. Wife had the grill cheese. Friend had the Buffalo burger and his wife had the tacos. Each meal was excellent. Service by Juliana was terrible. Had she been better I would have offered 5 stars. Juliana was too busy talking with other staff and friends that she all but forgot us. I would definitely go again but if she was to be our server I would ask for another.

I’ll keep it short, haddock recommended by server….awful. House meatloaf….awful. $100 meal for 2, no appetizers, no dinner rolls. Very disappointed. Nothing left to say other than we will not be back. On a positive note the view was very nice.

The wedding and reception at the Silver Fork Lodge went off without a problem! The outdoor setting was beautiful and the weather cooperated. The food was plentiful and delicious. The staff, from owner to banquet manager, and wait staff were supportive, helpful, and went out of their way to provide a quality experience for all of us. Most importantly, the Bride(my beautiful daughter) and Groom told us that the wedding was PERFECT! My wife and I were equally impressed. If you are looking for a rustic setting for weddings, meetings,or a comfortable place to eat or stay in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, just an hours drive from the Salt Lake City Airport, you need to check out this special facility

I have seen dogs there. I’m not sure if they have been service animals though. Call the lodge & ask to be sure.
They are all pretty much the same.. sorry 2 months late XD
Silver fork lodge is up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Alta is up Little Cottonwood Canyon, you will be going down then back up. It will take approximately 45 minutes, that is weather permitting. Solitude and Brighton ski resorts are much closer to Silver Fork. Solitude is 2 minutes away and Brighton is 5 minutes away. Enjoy our beautiful snow which ever place you go.
From Silver Fork Lodge? I don't believe so. However. there is a UTA ski bus that goes up and down the canyon. I would imagine it has a stop near the lodge. I just checked the UTA website and it is not listing anything until later this month.
