Cedar Breaks is a dated "resort" but they do keep the units clean. We used this property as our base camp for visiting the National Parks & Monuments in the area. Brian Head is at a higher elevation, which is nice in the warmer summer months. The staff was friendly but communication could be improved. We had trouble with our shower, which took too long to diagnose and fix properly. Our unit was noisy at times with what sounded like kids' running above us. Has requested an upper unit but that wasn't communicated at check in.
I had a brief (one night) good experience. Very close to the ski lifts (1 minute drive) Room was comfortable and bed was also comfortable. I could not switch the bath to shower mode (there was a trick on the faucet) also having a fireplace was a nice touch (I also could not figure out how to turn that off at night) The sad part was I just should have called and it would have been resolved. So not the resorts problem. I do recommend this resort.
It was the off season to stay at the resort. Not too busy. The pool was nice and again, not crowded. Rooms were clean and well supplied. The only negatives were that the TV, while providing a lot of stations didn't provide us with any program information. Also the area where other Diamond resorts have Dvd"s for rent or borrowing, games to check out and activities for children was apparently between suppliers so none of this was available.
great place for our faculty retreat. Has a very friendly staff, and clean rooms. If you are active it offers great hiking areas. quiet sleeping at night. Offers good food during restaurant hours. Would visit again.
So many things to do inside and outside the room. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Food and coffee on-site is a major bonus. My kids and I made so many memories here! We will be staying again in the future!
My family and I had never been to Utah so I booked our stay at the Ceder Breaks Lodge. The lodge is centrally located Bryce Canyon, and most of the major draws for a first time visit. The Lodge itself is very comfortable with all the amenities needed to enjoy hiking, jeeping or ATV. I read prior that some related the place being old, but I found that this was true to a point. The shower heads could be updated as well as the decor in the hall ways but come on, I went there to enjoy the outside not the decor. Seriously, we pretty much slept there, as we spent the day enjoying all the natural beauty of this location. My only complaint has nothing to do with the resort, the altitude was rough as the air was thin. This motivated use to get out each day to the lower elevation where all the good stuff was . I highly recommend this resort. …
Enjoyable vacation due to the quality of the accommodations and location. Spacious 1 bdrm with kitchen. Newer comfortable furnishings. Appreciated 2 queen beds, 2 doors between living area and bedroom, carafe coffee maker, 2 fireplaces. Slept with windows open at 9600 feet altitude. Scenic long range view. Kitchen did not function well.
We had a group of 4 couples and everyone was satisfied. We were there in the Spring and were pleasantly surprised at how well this older resort is maintained. The restaurant and bar were opened 4 days a week but the SPA not at all. It would have been nice to have SPA services.
Very clean accommodations and nice location to go to Zions, Bryce and Cedar Break. Do not like much the fact that there is not air conditioning. Studio is a little tight in the kitchen if you wanna cook, otherwise, if you bring microwaveable or any food that do not need cooking is ok. Overall, I would come again!
Good location. Easy to drive to (at least when there is no snow). Rooms are comfortable. 1 bedroom kitchen is a bit too small for those of us to actually prefer to cook. The resort could use an upgrade in the bathrooms. The pool was a good temperature. Jacuzzi jets not all working.
