This resort is located right up against some beautiful, majestic red rocks. The patios to the rooms are right at their base. The swimming pool is a very nice feature. While limited in choices, the small Snack Bar offers some good dishes. (I'd encourage those working there to at least act a little more excited about what they are doing or show a bit of personality). We only stayed at Bluff Dwellings one night but immediately felt the calmness the facility provides. Absolutely loved it!
We loved this resort! Being pretty new everything is well clean and kept tidy, they really seam to care about environment and it’s a pleasure to help them out in taking care of the facility as well as the huge rooms they offer. Nice outside pool open till 11pm, gym, luckily an inside bar/restaurant wher you can get breakfast or a meal as the near town, Bluff, doesn’t really offer much. Very nice reception area with a chill out zone and a souvenir shops with nice jewelry and hiking apparel. Well done guys!
Bluff Dwellings Resort was by far the best place we stayed at during our 3-week trip in Southwestern USA. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated and very clean. We loved the small terrace with great views on the rocks behind the building. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is great and the food served at the restaurant is good value. Together with our three teenage sons we took a buggy tour in arch canyon which we enjoyed a lot. We could only recommend this place and would love to be back one day. One thing that could make it even better is a guest laundry. We were referred to a laundry in the village but did not feel like spending some of our precious time in Bluff in front of a washing machine … So we quickly washed a few items in the sink and did the rest of our laundry in the following hotel.…
Rooms were modern and spacious with a Southwestern style. Loved the property rock features. Have driven past this resort on the way to Moab so many times thinking it was condos being built. So glad I researched it and found out it was a resort. Would definitely go back especially to discover that whole area and all it has to offer.
We have stayed here twice in the past 2 months and will continue to stay here on our way through to Arizona . In the past we have stayed in Moab . Moab is great but we prefer the less crowded more peaceful atmosphere of the Dwellings. The back patio and fire pits are so inviting with the breathtaking cliff views . The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean .
We stayed at Bluff Dwellings Resort with our three teenagers and loved it a lot! The rooms are tastefully furnished and have very comfortable beds. The environment is stunning and there are many activities that you can do with your family. We explored Arch Canyon by buggy and enjoyed the swimming pool at the resort’s premises.
Bluff Dwellings Resort was the best! In fact, I want to go back to Bluff, UT just to stay there! The rooms are roomy and beautifully decorated in a southwestern theme. The view in the back of the beautiful rock and landscape was the icing on the cake, as well as the gathering areas around the gas-lit fireplaces. It was the highlight of our trip out west. Thanks Bluff Dwellings!
The staff was welcoming and pleasant. The setting with the cliffs is stunning. The snack shack on premises was excellent food. Pool was also very nice. Our room was very clean. We stayed in a room with three queen beds which was unique and spacious.
The hotel is nice and clean probably one of the nicest in the area, but they're clearly marking up the prices. It's situated next to a scenic rock wall and not too far from Monument Valley (roughly 1hr) It has two pools: a very small heated one and a slightly larger "cold" one. The room was big, pleasantly decorated and relatively clean (I've found some hair in the bathroom but nothing major, really). I was given a room on the second floor, this was not a problem for me but there were no escalators in the facility, so remember to ask for rooms on the ground floor, should you have mobility issues. My main issue is the price! For 250 $ /night, anywhere else in the world, one would get a level of luxury that in Bluff is simply not there. Overall, the hotel is decent and conveniently located but it's really too expensive, no value for money.…
This enchanting hotel is such a hidden gem! The location is absolutely stunning, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food at The Cedar Shack is also really good and we especially loved taking the Cliffside Trail up the mountain at sunset. The fire pits in the evening also add to the ambiance.
