My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Stone Lizard Lodge. We were driving from Santa Fe, and as we were leaving, I noticed we had a flat tire. When we left the city, we were about 5 hours behind schedule. We called the Stone Lizard Lodge and told them our dilemma. They said not worry about it and come on anyway. We arrived shortly after the office was scheduled to close, and the young lady we spoke with waiting for us. The room checked all the boxes for us:  Super clear  Great amenities  Quiet  A very comfortable bed In the morning, we took some time to look around the property and grab a wonderful breakfast that was laid out. We could have easier spent a week here. High recommended.

This place was fantastic. Rooms were large and very clean. They serve a continental breakfast that is wonderful. The cinnamon rolls and egg pockets were loved by all. They have an amazing patio area out back that was very pleasant to sit in. Great location. Close to many natural wonders, I suggest Valley of the Gods. There are no restaurants open on Sunday except for the A&W.

Stone Lizard Lodge is a gem in Blanding, UT Our room had a double bed and a single bed. Each were created with lodge poles. Beautiful construction. Rest of room decorated in southwestern style. Pillows, sheets, covers a perfect match. TV, Microwave, Refrigerator. Fast internet. We liked it so much we are staying there again at end of our trip.

Awesome room and decor. Nice bed and pillows. Great showers and absorbent towels. Friendly staff. Good stop after Moab area and heading into Arizona. Quiet night’s sleep. Awesome backyard and after a long drive it was very relaxing. I read my book out there. Many chairs, tables and a few lounge chairs. The breakfast was at 7-9 time period. Awesome breakfast: chia pudding, fruit, banana bread, choice of nice bread to toast, coffee and tea bar, pastry with egg and ham, cereals and milk. If you want a relief from the usual chain motels: this is your place.

I drive from Boulder, CO to Sedona, AZ and this is the perfect stopping point for me. The rooms are very nice, the back garden area is a great place to unwind upon arrival or reset before departure. The rooms are very comfortable with all the right touches.

A gem! The grounds, the room, everything was so inviting. After settling into our room, we visited the garden out back and enjoyed our evening cocktail. It was most peaceful after a day of hiking and traveling. Breakfast in the garden too was delightful. It’s too bad this wasn’t one of our two night stops!

What a great place to stay, an old motel that has been completely updated and modernized. The bed was very comfortable, wonderful sheets and pillows. Bathroom is on the small side but everything is new, nice white fluffy towels too. The pictures on the web site are just what you'll experience. Location is great close to what there is in Blanding, nice to walk after a day in the car. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
