I've visited 6-7 different Aman resorts and many of them share the same benefits and (small) drawbacks. Just to note, if you are price/value sensitive, these resorts are probably not for you. That said, here is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly: The Good: Away from it all. Great service. Great food (and all food including room service is...

Stayed at the Amangiri as a surprise on my birthday trip to Utah. Alone the arrival onto the property and the subsequent welcoming from the staff is top! The fresh sage lemonaid we were served during the tour of the property was a delicious touch. The property is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed and designed in an...

Fantastic location and beautiful architecture and accommodation. Once in a lifetime activities: Gran Canyon, Slot canyons, via ferrate climbing, horseback riding and complimentary hikes all very well organised by Dan upon arrival, fully booked though, so need to book early. Great guides all the way! Very good spa as well (beautiful and great massage). I was worried that the room...

The Amangiri is hands down one of the best experiences you can have around the world. From the moment you arrive you are treated incredibly well and nothing is too much trouble. The check in process is seamless and after a quick tour of the hotel you arrive at your room, bags there, AC on, music playing. It must be...

I think this place is my new favorite hotel in the world, alongside Bardessono in Yountville. We were welcomed to the property by one of the managers, and by Ryan. I mentioned this because he checked in with us literally every time he saw us for the duration of our stay. Did we need anything? What time were we going...

Amangiri has fantastic design, a great spa, and very good food, integrated closely into the natural environment. Many of the staff are truly dedicated to creating a magical experience for guests. The clientele is international and somewhat younger than at many other resorts, probably because there are so many nearby outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and horse trails....

This is one of the most remarkable properties and resort/retreat experience in the world. Everything is amazing: location, service, dining ... and perhaps all for the same reason (attention to detail). The unique location near the great National Parks of the American Southwest was the reason we initially selected it, but after staying for a week, we now have many...
