The food for lunch was amazing. Ordered a simple chef salad and the portion was amazing large from I expected. My spouse ordered chicken fingers and fries with a salad. The chicken fingers were large and moist.

I will admit that I am biased about this spot as I have been staying here when I am in the area since the late 1970s! The management has changed over the years but you can still get a decent room and good food. Nothing fancy but the room works and has cable and WiFi. The restaurant has a good...

I found bedbugs in my bed and I waited sleeping in my car for the owner to refund me. No one in the reception till 6. I slept in my car for 4 hours. Finally she refunded me. (Maybe because I have to check my account balance).

We stayed in another town but found Sunglow Cafe the last night. Wow! Menu was large and varied for such a small town and our Cajun tilapia and chick-fried steak meals were perfectly prepared. Don't miss the scones, a yeast bread fried, served with honey butter, hot from the frier. Pie is the cafe's centerpiece. Among the typical offerings was...

For about half the price of a room in Torrey, we had a clean, quiet, room just 5-10 minutes further down the road. Not much in the way of amenities, but we just needed a place to sleep before heading over to the Fruita campground the next day. SunGlow fit the bill. The adjoining restaurant was convenient and memorable not for...

The girls checking us in were a hoot, and tried so hard, we really enjoyed them. The room was old and painted-over but not uncomfortable. Except for the bed... that bed should have been thrown away years ago! The restaurant was great, with a discount for motel guests.

I did NOT stay at their hotel, just used the restaurant. Don't be distracted by the initial looks of this restaurant - looks like the place that went back in time to the 70s. Food is great and abundant, service is excellent and the pies that they make are worth a trip!

A delightful young lady named Indica was efficient and fun. She was learning some Korean words from a family at another table, spent time chatting with us, too. She just lights up the place! They have a nice menu. We had SW pasta and garlic bread and a great salad. All presented beautifully. This is a 'don't judge a book...

Local owners were very accommodating for our late arrival, even turned the heat on for us since it was snowing. The bed was extremely comfy, close to capitol reef park/caineville, large cup of joe included in morning. We ate breakfast at their restaurant, it was delish. Also get their famous pie sampler.

It was good! The food was good. Service was prompt. And the prices are good too! The only problem we had was that we got four pieces of pinto bean pie to go. Got back to our hotel room and started eating them only to realize that they gave us pickle pie! So we took the pie back and they...
