This was the cleanest motel we stayed in on our trip. The owner is also very friendly and helpful, bringing us ice and giving us home baked cookies. It was very quiet too. We will definitely stay here again if we come this way in the future. We also had a great meal at Beaver Taco which the owner referred us to also.
We had a trailer in the RV park for a while. At first everything seemed ok. The owner can get enraged at the smallest things, and fly into an obsenity laced, screaming fit. We asked him if we could move our rent from the first of the month to the end, he said sure. We paid him $150 for what he said would be the gap. When I went in on the agreed day his wife told me I was 2 weeks late, I explained what me and her husband talked about and she said we couldn't do that. They kept the $150 for "late fees" and "daily charge" and we had to pay the full rent anyway! They messed with the water in our trailer when we weren't there, I would turn it off if we were gone for a while. He turned it back on and flooded a brand new trailer. Be wary of this place!
If you want to stay in a comfortable and clean hotel that has an owner who really cares about his guests, then look no further when booking a hotel in Beaver Utah!!!! My wife Bianca and I were in Beaver for the Beaver Canyon Marathon this past weekend and found this gem which was also close to the finish line. Reza the owner met us with homemade chocolate chip cookies and bottled water upon our arrival. What a nice touch. He immediately made us feel at home and took the time to learn a bit about me and my wife. He is a nice man who loves what he does and is genuinely concerned about his guests comfort and well being. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. AC was nice as was the shower. I will definitely stay here again next year when I come up to run the marathon. Reza, thanks for being so hospitable and kind to my wife and I. You are one of a kind in the hotel business! See you soon James and Bianca from Hill AFB, Utah…
As we were looking for a place about halfway between LA and Jackson Hole for an overnight stay during a July heatwave, Beaver seemed like a good choice due to lower temperatures than alternatives further south or north. The DeLano motel caught our attention among the options in Beaver, and the descriptions and photos we found almost seemed too good to be true, especially in light of the reasonable rates. That said, we were far from disappointed by our choice: We were greeted in he most friendly manner; the room was impeccably clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and spacious. Another plus was the covered parking, which we very much appreciated as we didn't leave at the crack of dawn. Note to the Tripadvisor staff: Please correct the category for the Delano Motel. It is not a bed & breakfast; it is a motel.…
Our experience at the DeLano Motel was nothing short of wonderful. The receptionist was extremely helpful, pleasant and called me back when she said she would to confirm our reservations. Turns out, she is the owners adult daughter. The room was extremely clean. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Basic, clean and modest is a good description of this little gem. The owner called the afternoon of the evening we checked out to thank us, check on our visit and see if we had any suggestions for improvement. Wonderful working with people who have skin in the game. We will stay here again whenever we are near Beaver.
After reading others’ reviews, we decided to stay too. It was a very nice place. The front desk girl was very sweet, personable and informative, recommending places for supper. Cookies and bottles of water were given as treats. Our room had a recliner in it (a first). The bed was comfortable. The heater worked. It was very quiet. And the price was reasonable. This is THE place to stay when in town!
We were driving from Ogden to Flagstaff and decided to break up the trip and stop for the night in Beaver. The DeLano Motel is an unassuming throwback to motor courts that were found across the country before there were faceless chain motels at every interchange. Based on the rave reviews online, we thought we'd stop in and inquire about a room. The young lady at the desk couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We asked to see the room first, and she was exceedingly gracious in honoring our request. Since we didn't have a reservation (and there are only 10-12 rooms here), we were shown to a room with two queen beds. The room was spotless, and I was very happy that it had its own heater in the wall so that we weren't sharing air with other guests. The bathroom was pink-tiled and clearly original to the motel; it too was spotless. A cart served as counter space next to the small sink and held the hair dryer, towels, and soaps. The bed was comfortable though the pillows were a bit thin, but we just borrowed some from the other bed. The staff and the place were charming and I will definitely stay here again if my travels permit it.…
We needed a room in Beaver on 4/17/21. We generally stay at Comfort Inn, LaQuinta, or similar motels. As I was reading reviews, I ran across this little gem. It sounded ideal to us and we were lucky to get a room on a Sat. evening. The room was immaculate And spotlessly clean. I have never seen a bathroom is clean as this one. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious. And to my delight, there was a recliner. My feet swell when we travel by car so this was absolutely wonderful. The small refrigerator had a little freezer which was ideal for us because they did not have an ice machine. They would supply us ice that evening, but no one would be there Sunday morning to give us more for our little cooler. They offered to bring a small coffee pot down but we declined since we had something of our own. The lovely Young lady at the desk was very accommodating and pleasant. She offered to bring blankets if we needed them. She gave us water and cookies. We were able to park directly in front of our door undercover. We were traveling cross-country for six months so we had a packed full van. When we stay in regular motels we generally take a lot of things to the room in case of a break-in. Here we felt very safe and just felt we needed to bring a few things we needed for overnight into the room. I can’t stress enough how clean this motel was. By nine clock that p.m. every room was booked. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel And we would definitely stop there again if we are looking for a room in beaver Utah. We would have loved to have met the owners, however they were on vacation. They should know that their front desk was in very good hands with the young lady who helped us. A gem indeed!…
This little gem of a motel has sparkling clean rooms. The bed we slept in was firm but not stiff which was important since I have a chronic bad back. The owner Ray is also very welcoming and accommodating and seems genuinely interested in how comfortable your stay is.
If your looking for a Hilton type hotel, keep looking. But if you want a quiet, comfortable, clean place to stay with a friendly staff, this is the place! Although the bathroom was more vintage in design, the room itself had been recently updated, and everything was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of hot water for showering and the water pressure was great too. Comfy beds. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are a nice bonus too. Terrific value for the money!
