- Michael S.1 contributionSuper fun boutique hotel!This was our first stay at the hotel and we will definitely be coming back with all our friends! The grounds were well maintained. Plenty of parking. The pool was absolutely amazing! We swam every day and night. Hot tub included. The room was super clean and had all kinds of fun things like a record player with some great vinyl, super cool LED lighting, and lots of great snacks as well as a kitchenette. We walked to some great restaurants, Long Leaf for dinner, and Sugar Shack for breakfast. Also within walking distance is Izzo's which has great drinks overlooking the water. Such a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend this property and can't wait to come back!Your group was a lot of fun, and I hope you will plan another trip to the Texas Hill Country very soon. The eclectic hotel was very clean, spacious and as described. The room was laid out nicely and we felt comfortable staying there. The pool area was clean. The hotel was located just off the main road within walking distance to several restaurants including the Sugar Shack Bakery that fed us breakfast, courtesy of the hotel as their guests. We would definitely return to this location.We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. It is always a pleasure to host such wonderful guests. - Liz T2 contributionsRelaxing GetawayThis was our second stay at Hotel Flora and Fauna and we loved it all over again. There was a minor problem with the keypad when first arriving, but as soon as we spoke to Ryan, the hotel owner everything was taken care of. He even provided us his personal cell number in the event any other problems came up. Some ammenties include some amazing coffee, a record player, the coziest bed, a voucher to a superb bakery, and a super clean room. They also offer some extra packages that they put together on site and that was a nice welcoming! It's located near downtown Wimberely, which is a perfect distance for your day shopping and night on the town. We enjoyed some great drinks and food at Los Olivos Market, and Longleaf Craft kitchen, and then came back to a refreshed and relaxing room. Thank you Staff at Flora and Fauna, for the enjoyable stay! My husband and I will definetely be back again!It sounds like you had a wonderful time which makes us smile. Wonderful hotel, extremely clean and well maintained. Very responsive to questions and accommodating with changes. Front mural is great, you can spend some time just looking at it. Pool and hot tub perfectly maintained. Location in Wimberley is excellent.

Nice room and great pool. Note they do not change sheets or towels during your stay. No oven or stovetop. A/C had trouble keeping up with 100+ degrees - duh! Location is great - close to town and river (no access). Will stay again. Shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers were all empty.

Perfect stay for 3 nights. Check in was easy. We had a code emailed to us in advance. Room was good size and had everything we needed. Loved the kitchenette. Ac worked great, it was over 100 degrees outside. Little patio set outside the room was used of an evening. The pool was great for cooling off. We would love to come back.

The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was over 100 degrees outside but the ac worked great. liked that there was no check in, just a code to the door. Great location close to everything. This was our first trip to Wimberley and I think we picked the right hotel. We will definitely be back.

What a great hotel! There’s something really nice about not having to check in-you get a code for your door. The manager is reachable by text and responds immediately. The room was incredibly clean (the cleanest sheets!) and had so many comforts of home: books, Jenga, record player and records, dishes, silverware, and a mini fridge that actually keeps things cold. They honestly thought about what a guest might need in order to feel comfortable and at home. The location is very quiet but walkable to restaurants and activities. There’s a bbq grill if you want to cook out and a sparkling pool and hot tub. It’s a perfect place to stay!

Perfect location. Very quiet and peaceful. A quick walk to town. Room was nicely furnished and included everything we needed. Kitchenette had coffee and tea essentials. Breakfast voucher was nice and the selection was good

Excellent boutique hotel! The open room design was perfect and it could not have been more clean than it was when we arrived. While there is no onsite staff (except for cleaning service), the manager was easily accessible via phone and very responsive to our requests. The best thing may be that you can walk EVERYWHERE in Wimberly for this hotel.

Loved our stay at Flora and Fauna! The bed was super comfy. The air conditioner/heater was so quiet that could hardly hear it was on. Our room had great water pressure making our shower enjoyable. We didn't bring our robes but, were pleasantly surprised to find 2 soft white ones came with the room. So many nice and special touches were in our room. Like listening to some LPs on an in-room record player, playing a game or reading a book from selection offered on room's shelves. The kitchen was stocked with basic dishes and utensils for making an extended stay most enjoyable....which on our next visit, we plan to stay longer.

We loved everything about it! The location is a short walk to downtown. The pool, hot tub, and grounds are immaculate. The rooms have everything you need and are put together with such care and attention to detail. We love staying in different places in Wimberley but this one makes it hard to stay anywhere else! We will definitely be repeat customers.

The Hotel Flora and Fauna was quiet and quant. We liked the layout of the room. The decorations and added little features were nice. It was nice to hear music from a record player again. The pool was nice and refreshing. We will be staying there again in the future.
