Loved this sweet little hotel! Spent a weekend here for a quick get away and it was perfect. Room was super clean, comfortable bed. Kitchenette perfect for quick little meals. Grill in court yard area for guests to use. Pool clean and very inviting. Owner not on site but quickly answered text. Perfect location--can walk to down town. I would stay here again!!

Spent a weekend here recently with my husband for a quick getaway. Super cute and clean! Pretty quiet as well while still having access to the common areas and pool. We loved that it was dog friendly. We were able to walk everywhere right from the hotel. Spent an afternoon in the pool as well which was refreshing. One of the best parts was the breakfast each day from the bakery down the street - DELISH. Definitely would recommend this and will stay there again if we do another weekend in Wimberley.

This was our first stay at the hotel and we will definitely be coming back with all our friends! The grounds were well maintained. Plenty of parking. The pool was absolutely amazing! We swam every day and night. Hot tub included. The room was super clean and had all kinds of fun things like a record player with some great vinyl, super cool LED lighting, and lots of great snacks as well as a kitchenette. We walked to some great restaurants, Long Leaf for dinner, and Sugar Shack for breakfast. Also within walking distance is Izzo's which has great drinks overlooking the water. Such a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend this property and can't wait to come back!

Hotel and property appeared clean. Had a few problems during our stay. I had reserved 3 nights...left after the second night. Mosquitoes in the bathroom, AC did not cool the room (room very large, AC very small). When we called the hotel phone we were only able to leave a message and received a text with instructions to call the hotel number. Requested that our room be "refreshed"...it was not refreshed during our stay. Probably will not reserve room at this hotel again....

John, I am truly sorry that you experienced any issues during your stay. Unfortunately, you were in residence when the global pandemic hit, so we were struggling to answer all of the phone calls directly. We did note in our system that you had the "Do Not Disturb" notice on your door, which prevented us from cleaning the room. I apologize for any misunderstanding. Maybe the sign was merely turned the wrong direction. As far as the mosquitos, they were actually gnats. We treated for them, and they appear to have departed at this time. The rain we were experiencing before/during your visit didn't help as they caught us off guard. Similarly. all of the AC's were routinely serviced just a few weeks before your arrival, so I am unsure why you experienced any issues. We have not noted anything since your departure. I sincerely hope you will come back for another visit. I am sorry that you departed early due to the need to get back to your family. We would have enjoyed hosting you that last night, and look forward to your return so we can show you a better time and make up for the lost time on the last night.

This was our second stay at Hotel Flora and Fauna and we loved it all over again. There was a minor problem with the keypad when first arriving, but as soon as we spoke to Ryan, the hotel owner everything was taken care of. He even provided us his personal cell number in the event any other problems came up. Some ammenties include some amazing coffee, a record player, the coziest bed, a voucher to a superb bakery, and a super clean room. They also offer some extra packages that they put together on site and that was a nice welcoming! It's located near downtown Wimberely, which is a perfect distance for your day shopping and night on the town. We enjoyed some great drinks and food at Los Olivos Market, and Longleaf Craft kitchen, and then came back to a refreshed and relaxing room. Thank you Staff at Flora and Fauna, for the enjoyable stay! My husband and I will definetely be back again!
