This place was absolutely perfect! Beautifully set along a creek with incredible views! Even though the pictures are gorgeous, they don’t do justice to walking the grounds and viewing the nature and beautiful scenery all around there. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful host! We felt welcomed from the time we walked in the door till our departure. We Stayed in the Bluebonnet room And received a complementary upgrade! We had to leave earlier than they planned a breakfast was and they made to go boxes for us! Would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting the Wimberley area as you won’t be disappointed!

I was a guest in the Bluebonnet Room for a three-night writing retreat. Oh my! Such luxury! The tub for a hot soak, the window seat for a long read, the comfortable bed for a long night's sleep. Though the other rooms were occupied, I never heard a peep. The grounds are magical -- the stream, the hammock, there are even kayaks! And all this feels so isolated -- but it's only a short walk to the middle of Wimberley.

This property and the Inn are absolutely Stunning. The rooms are all decorated differently, it is kid free so it is nice and quiet for a romantic getaway. The Innkeepers are very nice people. Don't forget to get a massage in the third floor "Treehouse".

We were a small painting workshop in a beautiful spring week. Meals were sumptuous and interesting, bed was great, room large and well equipped, and staff were helpful at every turn. The birds and the gentle creek views added serenity. Request lower floor rooms if you are unfriendly with stairs. Iron, microwave and refrigerator in room, and jetted tub. We were there before 'prime time' and work to get ready for the season ahead were in full swing. I wish Helena and Don well in their endeavors as new owners!

I booked 2 nights and 3 days for spring break. My mom and I needed to get away and relax! I found this place very peaceful, the accommodations were as expected, the town itself is just so peaceful, nice people, great stores (pricey but expected) and although they are not many eating options nearby, we still had a great time. Our hosts were nice, we enjoyed a nice breakfast both days. I enjoyed trying pecan coffee and they did suggest to let them know if we had dietary needs (I eat low carb) I ENJOYED the French toast casserole so much!! The creek that passes by their inn was low and cold but me and my mom still took advantage of it! It was relaxing and when we finished I went back to the room and turned on the fireplace! Amazing! The town itself is just vibrating with young families, the places near offer a lot of entertainment for children which I found neat! Take advantage of local beer/wines. We don’t drink so I can’t recommend but every restaurant we visited has nice options. I recommend at the square “The wooden spoon” for frozen yogurt, “The Wimberley Cafe” for local southern food and “The community Pizza” for local beer, pizza and saldas! It was good! I broke my diet but it was with it 100%. We also visited the “Shady Llama” which is a neat spot! Blue hole was closed but gorgeous to walk around! We did not make it to Jacob’s well but it was ok! Don’t be intimidated! Give Wimberley a try!

Monica, it sounds like you were able to enjoy a lot of the amazing things that the Wimberley Valley has to offer. Come back and visit again when it's a bit warmer! The creek is much more enjoyable when it's hot out.
