This is an incredible place in the middle of Texas. I went with no expectations, and the treatment we received was stellar. My husband and I were there for a very quick birthday get-away and stayed in a beautifully appointed casita. It's an operating farm, ranch, hotel, and

Beautiful ranch setting, luxurious hacienda, delicious dinner menu with many options, extensive wine list, gracious service. Loved the showers, private veranda, in room breakfast and exploring the grounds. Thankful for a lovely weekend away.

This place is very nice. We stayed in the Del Lago hacienda which I recommend due to its proximity to the pond. The hacienda is spacious, clean, laid out well and nicely designed. We commented multiple times about how we would incorporate some of the design aspects into our next

We stay in Relais & Chateaux all over the world because of the unique flavour of each property. This is no exception. My Hacienda was beautiful, well appointed and very comfortable. Spacious property with a real Texas feel. It’s quite a way from anywhere but that’s why I came.

A little late to reply, but check out Rough Creek Lodge next time! It’s in Glen Rose. You can even take the kids and drop them off at kids camp every night to enjoy a nice adults-only dinner. My family loves that place!

Are dogs allowed?
Are children allowed at the resort?
Yes. There are things kids can see and do. If you have a Hacienda, you have your own pool. If you get a Casita, there is a lovely pool by the restaurant. Kids can fish, ride horses, and use an outdoor basketball court. The resort can supply fishing equipment and horseback riding but there is an extra cost.

It's a skeet field. They supply the guns. It is kind of on-site . About 1/4 mile -1/2 mile golf cart ride away from the residences .
