We had a wonderful time in a Hacienda (Del Largo). It was superbly well appointed and we just loved the outdoor heated plunge pool that was reminiscent of a Roman bath in size and was fantastically warm with a view over the lake to boot! The staff were very accommodating and discrete! We took a wander around the property to...

We did a 3000 mile road trip in the southern states and booked this as a 'luxury pit stop' in between. Unfortunately there were some issues and they couldn't be reopen in time. We are from the UK and couldn't have been more disappointed to not get to stay here but...the management (although cancelled on us) were fabulous. They arranged...

I had the opportunity to attend a wedding at Dos Brisas and it was the wedding of the century! Every detail was meticulously thought through -- from the quiet, romantic area of the property where to ceremony was performed to the beautiful tent where we had dinner and listened to the band. The food and service were amazing! The attention...

My husband and I recently had the amazing experience of staying at this gorgeous Relais Chateau property. The Inn at Dos Brisas is where you go to get away from it all, but still have very high end luxurious amenities. The casitas are beautiful appointed with fine linens and furniture, and each have gorgeous plunge pools. The food is an...

Unique and unforgettable experience an hour from Houston. Excellent service from all staff members. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is creative and expertly prepared. Vegetables come straight from the garden on the property and most of the meat is from local purveyors. Sommelier will create a personalized wine pairing for you.

My wife and I spent a weekend getaway at Dos Brisas and really enjoyed the quaint class of our stay. The room was well furnished with an incredibly comfortable and spacious bed laid out in a big high ceilinged room with a fireplace. We found a disconnect between the luxury-level price of our weekend here, and the quality of the experience. Our room was pretty and comfortable but inconveniently arranged and not to the standard of a similarly priced hotel room in a large city. The staff was mostly very young, nice and well intentioned, but not particularly well trained. An exception was...
