Very friendly campground with a convenient cafe on premises. The food was good and the prices were resonable. We enjoyed the nature walk that ended at a catfish pond. The airconditioned laundry was clean and located close to bathrooms and showers. We will be returning.

We stopped in for a night. We had a pull through site close to the clubhouse/ restaurant (restaurant is open Thursday - Sunday). The site was long enough for what ever you have, and we did not have to disconnect our toad. The hookups were modern, convenient, and functioned properly. The cable was okay, but the WiFi was spotty where we were. That said, most of the sites are back in, with about 60% occupied by seasonal residents. For a newer facility, the amenities seem to be located more haphazardly than I would have thought - but of course I am not privy to the overall master plan.

We met the managers, and they have a long history with KOA, and have settled here. It is always when the owners and/ or managers live on site.

We arrived after office hours without a reservation in our 43' Class A, and a gate attendant showed us which sites were available. I picked one, and he escorted us to it in his golf cart. The short trip to our campsite involved some very tight turns with posts on each side of the intersection offering minimal clearance. The attendant drove past later after we hooked up and asked if everything was OK. I mentioned that cable TV reception was weak. He became somewhat confrontational, which I could have done without. Checkout next morning with the regular office staff went very smoothly.

All in all, if this campground were all that was available, and we just needed a place to park to get some sleep for the night, I might consider it, but it won't ever be our number one destination. Not much activity when we were there, and lots of blue collar full timers, apparently.

The period of my visit was from Jan. 23-Feb. 7,2024 in a cabin , at the resort. The cabin was great.!!!!. However the internet service needs improvement, signal was intermittent over my stay. The coax wire was loose and the wind caused the wire to move, and create a signal problem.
The second problem was no filter on the water line going into the cabin. A filter needed installation to remove the sulfur. The smell (rotten eggs), was in the shower and water used for cooking and drinking .
These are the two main concerns to share in the review.

This was our second stay this year. First stay got top marks, however, this stay was not of KOA standards. First stay cable was fuzzy but visible, this stay NO cable at all. Janis messed up our reservation date then said we were owed money at arrival only to charge us MORE at check-in! For what??? And when we questioned it she was rude. Corrected our reservation where she had us as a 33 ft RV and we are 40 ft. And Janis goes, IT DOESN"T MATTER!" Um, excuse me, but if you are 7 ft. short it does matter!!! Then wouldn't allow us to switch from credit card to cash as EVERY KOA in the US allows you to. VERY VERY RUDE. I could not get over the difference this stay was from the last. And, we had no escort to the site. In fact after getting parked we realized we had a tire leaking (valve stem damaged) and went to change to our spare tire until we could get it fixed. Workers drove by and didn't ask if we needed help or anything. Just very stuck-up! This is not what we except from a KOA - especially one we visited before and had excellent! Something has changed at this park - workers not friendly at all and they are not fixing the facility because 7 months later the cable should be fixed unless they are not investing in the park. We contacted the corporate office about this park.

My family stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The cabin was great and very clean. My family enjoyed the catfish pond and the pool. The wild deer roaming around in the morning was cool. We had no problems and the grounds were well taken care of. I would recommend.

Certainly recommend this KOA. Spacious park, friendly service. Sites even with little patio and barbecue. We had no cable but it was available. Not sure how. If going in Sumner the pool is very small. Certainly it's a return place for us. We had a pull through with 27ft Winnebago travel trailer. They had large sites for the large motor homes. They picked up trash every day. We even sat our propane bottle out and they filled it and brought back. Nice trees at back if property. Lots of places to walk. Found a nature trail and a little pond.

Spent the weekend here and really enjoyed our visit. Campsites are a little close together to really enjoy, but if you get an end site or happen to not have neighbors right next door, it is really nice. Catfish pond, pool, nice clean restrooms, cafe and laundry facility all make for a fun, comfortable stay. If you require technology, they even have cable and internet (wifi). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We arrived and was promptly greeted by a gentleman in a golf cart and escorted to our location. Extremely nice and clean park. Next morning could not get cable working the young lady picking up the trash said I will ask dad to stop by and shortly here came dad and worked magic. So we were on our second shake down and totally enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and no noise and a few people to talk to. I am sure it is more lively when a rally is underway, but we will return.
