We recently spent 3 nights in Red Rooster cabin and enjoyed our stay very much. It was a peaceful, quiet experience close to great birding/hiking at Lost Maples SNA area and a surprise vineyard stop at Lost Maples Vineyards. Wine from Texas?? Our cabin was lovely with a unique cypress king size bed and all the comforts of home. I...

My husband wanted to go to this area to drive on all the curvy roads. However, we found much more to do. The lodges were wonderful and perfectly located in the middle of everything. We stayed in THE COTTAGE and it was the right space for my husband and me. It is decorated beautifully and has a full kitchen and...

We spent 2 nights in Soloman's Den and enjoyed our stay immensely. This cabin has all the comforts of home and is detailed in "lodge-wear" everyplace you look! We spend 10 days in Texas every year during February, and take 2-day trips outside of San Antonio. This was a reasonable and beautiful car ride, and part of hill country that...

We stayed in Solomon's Den and it was absolutely incredible. It was so quiet and relaxing. Such a lovely place to be after riding the Twisted Sisters. We loved the fresh bread and wine. It comes with everything you think you might need, right down to fresh creamer in the fridge. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We...

We stayed in the Solomon's Den cabin for Valentine's Day weekend in 2015. What a wonderful treat! The drive in was lovely, the directions provided by the owners were very good, and the property was easy to find. Loved the large open floor plan, the high metal ceilings, and the custom bed up on the platform. The scenery was nice...loved...

This place is off the beaten path a bit, but it is very relaxing and quite. The owners are very nice. It is kind of in the middle of lots of good places. There really is a dog that will come visit. He thinks he owns the place and you are the visitor. He is very welcoming. The fresh homemade...

My husband and I came for our two year anniversary in early October, and we stayed in Solomon's Den. The pictures on the website don't do any justice to this darling cabin! We arrived to fresh flowers on the table, pumpkin bread, and wine. Everything was so nice. There is a lot of character to this cabin. There's a hammock...

We had a great weekend retreat in the "Red Rooster" cabin, which was very nicely furnished with a visibly loving touch. Another nice touch was a home made cake loaf provided as a gift. Good king size bed, two extra bunk beds, nice bathroom with shower, well equipped kitchen, front and back porches, backyard with hammock, fire ring, and grill....

Having our 20th Anniversary stay at Solomon's Den was so unique. A second-story rustic cabin, the most luxurious bed linens and pillows, fantastic tin roof and other rustic features. This really is a relaxing retreat. The owner is very sweet and brought us homemade dessert bread also! Will most likely return to here our next trip West.

Me and my husband spent our 30th Anniversary at The Lodges at Lost Maples. We were looking for a quiet, secluded place to come "home" to after riding our motorcycle around the Hill Country and we found it. There are only five cabins, and the way the owner has them situated you feel like you're the only ones there, even...
