I was very impressed with the management team. The rooms were neat and clean, very well equipped, excellent heating during a VERY catastrophic week of the worst weather in Texas in a long time. The managers, Marggi and Lonnie, were very accommodating when I needed to keep extending our stay while my husband was in the hospital. I will be using the Hospitality House in the future, if there is room for us. One issue I had, small in comparison to the excellent service, I missed communicating with Marggi/Lonnie on one day during a particularly difficult day for my husband. I was under a lot of stress and forgot to call them to let them know I did not need my room anymore. I was charged for that night. Not a real big deal, but perhaps, in certain situations, a reminder to the tenant, by text, would be possible to alert the need to extend or turn in keys to avoid extra charges. The price is so reasonable that I am not unhappy, just surprised. Just a thought, going forward.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't recognize you by your email address, or I would look into this. I am, however, taking your idea seriously, and will post a note on the back of the hotel apartment doors stating the need to turn the keys into the front desk on departure, before check out time, to prevent extra charges. Thank you for the great tip! Sincerely, Marggi and Team

My husband had surgery and I stayed here. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Room was clean and very safe. I never had any problems while I was there. I would stay here again if needed. Margie even offered her little red wagon to move my stuff to the room. I would never have felt this comfortable in a hotel. Thank you Hospitality House.

We needed to stay in town due to my dad being admitted to the UT hospital for surgery. We were very pleased to be told about Hospitality House by the Pre-op Office. My brother & I checked it out and decided that our mom would be comfortable being so close to the hospital. We rented the apt. for myself ,my husband & my mom. Although my mom decided to stay at the hospital with my dad. She was comfortable leaving the hospital and came to rest at the apt. While I or my husband stayed with my dad. The apt. we rented had to twin beds. The couch would make into a bed if needed and there was a roll-a-way bed in the closet. The kitchen was furnished with dishes, cookware, silverware, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom had towels and washcloths. There were ice trays with ice in the freezer. We went to the store and got some groceries and we were set for our stay. Clean, quiet and check-in was very easy. People were very friendly. Price was reasonable ($50 a night).

I came to Tyler the night before to repairs roofs at Broadstone Apartments in the morning. I asked Siri to find a hotel and Hospitality House came up. I called and while talking with Marggi, I told Barry to turn around we are staying there. I booked the room over the phone site unseen. When we checked in I told Marggi we had 2 ladders which we would take to the room. She offered the pool house and we accepted. They were locked and secured all still before we reached the room. The room was a small apartment complete with kitchen, dishes and silverware and a fridge. There were 2 bedrooms with an extra fold out bed. We went down and said we were going to X'LN Poolhall for a while and was the little italian resaurant good. We went to both to unwind and then came back. We stayed in #41 which had the nightly entertainment of watching the helicopter land on the roof next door along with the tv. We checked out at 8 am. Marggi you did good and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Next time I come, the first two drinks are on me. Thanks Marggi, Steve Magyar
