It was mom's 82 birthday and my sister's, Brenda, 50th birthday. We decided to make a weekend of it. Went to Palestine to ride the dinner moonlight train (awful) and then head to Tyler and then Jefferson. We didn't get through with the train ride until nearly 10:30 pm which meant we wouldn't get to the Dogwood until nearly midnight.... More

Wine and snacks waiting when we arrived; Coffee waiting for me when I awoke; huge breakfast custom made with requested gluten-free items at the time we specified; bed was surprisingly comfy; handy maps of the area; suggestions on local restaurants and wineries. This is the place to stay if you are anywhere near Tyler. Real Texas hospitality! Minor item: we... More

The Dogwood was a very nice and quaint B&B nestled away in the East Texas Woods. Very Nice and clean accommodations. The Chandlers (Owners) were extremely nice and accommodating as well. The two breakfasts me and my wife got to enjoy were delicious. Plenty of food and great variety. The upstairs efficiency was plenty big and had everything you could... More

My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary here. Everything was great. The breakfast and cheese tray in the room. The bed was very comfortable and everything was relaxing. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

Dogwood Hill B&B is a wonderful place to spend time! It's located in the country between Lindale and Tyler, in a beautiful setting. The property is beautiful and secluded, yet it's only a 10-15 minute drive to Tyler. They had some of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a B&B. The time I stayed, I was the only guest,... More

We spent two nights at the Dogwood Hill, and it was very enjoyable and comfortable. The hosts, Tony and Linda, were so welcoming and hospitable. Linda had a fruit and cheese tray with a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. She had the refrigerator stocked with water or sodas, and we could just help ourselves. The breakfasts... We spent one night at the Dogwood Inn and our stay was lovely from start to finish. The setting is peaceful and pretty, the hosts were friendly and charming, and the breakfast was excellent. The house and our room were exceptionally clean. Everything was crisp and comfortable, without lots of trinkets and such to worry about. We especially appreciated their... More

Dogwood Hill B&B is an amazing place! It is nice and new and clean. The property is quiet and lovely with a wrap-around porch, plenty of seating, a hot tub, a short hiking trail around the property, and blooming dogwood trees in the spring. The rooms are simple- not stuffy with antique trinkets- but tastefully and comfortably furnished. We have... More

We travelled to Tyler, TX for our 17th annniversary to Dogwood Hill B&B and were thrilled with the property, activities, the kindness and friendliness of the owners at this quiet, out of the way B&B. The couple who owns this property are lovely and very accommodating. The home was very clean and neat, the breakfasts were delicious, and the area... More
