Extremely friendly and accommodating staff in both the hotel and restaurant. Very nice to eat dinner here on a Saturday as it seems the whole town stops in for a bite to eat or to just say hello. Live music is lots of fun and adds to the overall fun & friendly atmosphere. The decor really makes this place unique...

The Hotel Turkey is the hub of all that is good in Texas small towns. Sure the Hotel could use some updates, but this is an authentic old time hotel. I so enjoyed the wonderful hospitality extended here. The restaurant with the live music was wonderful. in the morning I was welcomed at "the big kids table." Had a great...

The Hotel Turkey is the hub of all that is good in small town Texas. Sure the hotel could use some updates. This, however is an authentic old time hotel. The hospitality was amazing. The weekend restaurant with live music has a great small town atmosphere. If you want to really experience Texas, stay here. At breakfast sit down with...

I did a stop with my Family duringa roadtrip in Texas. This hotel is awful: sheets were soiled, a ery very old bathroom in our room (impossible to wash ourselves) and a very dark room. I didn't see any trace of renovation... In addition to that when we wanted to take our breakfast at 8h45, the owner said that it...

I have tried to contact tpetit75 and apologize and even offer a refund. I, the owner, was not there, and I am sorry the employee did not serve breakfast. The room and sheets were clean. I hope you look at our other reviews and visit our macbook page that has great reviews. We have had lots of happy customers!

What a different experience! This hotel has been in continuous operation since 1927. The current owners bought it last year and are in the process of renovating it, so it is a work in progress. The bathroom fixtures in our room were very new and very nice, and the linens on the bed were good as well. The rooms only...

I've stayed here three times. First time was in October of 2014. This place is like staying in an old house that got amenities like electricity and water as an afterthought. Don't expect luxury but you can expect to be treated well. The staff is great and the place is getting some much needed renovation. It's not a chain motel....

Trying to find a place to stay near Caprock Canyon and this was just perfect. I would love to return on a weekend to enjoy some live music and dine on the patio. The owners clearly love this adventure and it shows. We stayed in the first floor remodeled rooms and they were beautiful

We decided to stop here for lunch on a motorcycle trip. It was delicious! Service was outstanding and the food was good. We plan on staying at the hotel next trip! Fried chicken was Sunday's special and it was good!

We stayed here on a Monday so we had the whole place to ourselves. Nice room, the bed was comfortable, a lot of old pictures of Turkey from back in the day. The staff was friendly and was most helpful when I lost a CD. After looking high and low we finally found it in my pocket. Breakfast was good.

My son in law and I stayed here for one night after hiking in the Caprock Canyon state park. The room ( Number 19) had two double beds and a Texas theme. The bathroom was large and the shower was hot. The A/C window unit kept us cool. The room was clean and there was free wifi and DirectTV on...
