DISGUSTING!!!! We had booked this hotel on Expedia prior to our trip, the pictures looked decent. We got into town close to midnight, upon pulling into the parking lot, it looked a tad run down. I didn't think much of it, and went ahead to check in. Not the best part of town. I retreated to my room hoping for...

Still as nice as when it was a LaQuinta, fair price, clean rooms and pet friendly. Breakfast was average. Staff working at all times keeping things clean and asking if you needed anything. My stay ended up being three days but it was pleasant and I will return when I am in this area in the future.

Having stayed at the Magnuson Hotel in Tyler, we were expecting another good experience. However, this (formerly LaQuinta) hotel has just been acquired and no renovation has been done yet. It is pretty run down, and I hope that they are able to do the necessary updates and repairs to bring it up to snuff.

New owners took over this former La Quinta site in October 2016 an where helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious. In time, some updating needs to be done(paint, carpet, etc) Free breakfast was good. The rating reflects the fact that this is a budget/economical hotel. Good rates. Recommended!

I've stayed in this hotel twice in 2016. The first time was June 17 & 18, 2016 while it was a LaQuinta. During my first stay, I had an issue with housekeeping leaving the door to my room ajar. Fortunately, nothing was missing. Other than that incident, not issue. Older hotel in need of some updating. I stayed again in...

The facility is a bit older, but the room was OK. The room was clean, the desk person was courteous and helpful, fast check in/out. Quiet and quite pleasant. The price was great and so it was an excellent value. I stayed here Nov. 2015.

We paid for the "suite" which meant upstairs from the office. It smelled horrible - HORRIBLE. Luckily I had Febreeze and the comforter wasn't on the bed correctly. I felt gross in the shower, sitting on the couch - just in general in this room. This is a really old hotel. I wrote to La Quinta to report them and...

This hotel must have one of the worst managers ever. The room that my brother and I stayed in had dirty floors, trash under the beds, and fecal stains on the towels. My relatives booked two separate rooms and both of them turned down their first and second rooms due to things such as beds not being made, marijuana joints...

Very old and a little creepy. Doors faced the outside like a motel and not a hotel. Carpet was stained and toilet ran constantly. Bed was ok but bedspread was fitted at the bottom and would not come up high enough to cover shoulders. Front desk staff were very nice and friendly.

Awkward location to get to. Crowded parking. The room had so many stains and sticky carpets, it looked like a futile cleanup effort of the Pillsbury Dough Boy explosion in the original Ghostbusters movie. Apart from the crusty occlusions on the mattress, the bedding was quite firm.
