We stayed here for a week. We have nothing but good things to say about the stay and would highly recommend Far Flung Casitas. They are clean, decent space, everything is well maintained and works. Other comments: Far Flung is on the east side of...More

Following my review back in 2014 I have stayed at the Far Flung Casitas 8 times, usually for 3-5 nights each time. I like the place a lot and look forward to pleasant evenings on the porch and the quit environment. And it's better than...More

We had Cabin 6 with two beds, possibly queen size. And there is a kitchen and bathroom with a shower stall. There's a porch with two rocking chairs. The view from the porch is beautiful flowering trees and bushes. Cabins 10, 11, and 12 are...More

Clean and comfortable with easy access to both the Big Bend National Park and the Big Bend State Park. It is within walking distance to the Far Flung Outdoor Center as well. It is a nice location for a visit to Terlingua.

What’s your definition of “nice?” With an open mind yes; however, the Casitas aren’t the Ritz. They are larger than a big city hotel room (Chicago, San Fran, NYC). I don’t know if they have various sizes, but the 1 room 2... More

I'm not certain about miles, but it took us about 45 minutes to drive from the Casitas in Terlingua to the Chisos Lodge in the National Park. The road is very well-maintained, paved all of the way and divided. There was very... More
