The "casitas" at Far Flung are adorable. They are spacious, clean and very attractive. Our casita was brand new, made of natural wood and even had vaulted ceilings. There are lots of little "extras" - wide front porch with chairs, heater in the bathroom, large shower, a well equipped kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The beds are comfortable. The grounds...

My husband and I stayed here in October. We absolutely loved it. The location can’t be beat. You’re a few minutes from Terlingua, about 20 minutes from the park entrance and right where you need to be if you want to do any tours through Far Flung. The cabins are incredibly clean and tidy. The kitchenette is great for making...

We were only able to stay one night. We were hoping for more since they are close to the big bend national park. There are only 12 Casitas and they are close together and on the same grounds as the outdoor center. They have ice and picnic tables. Someone went through a lot of work to plant a garden around...

I could go on for hours about how much I love this place. The accommodations, the staff, the comfort (those sheets, those beds!), the views...all unmatched. I believe this was my 5th (maybe 6th) stay at the Casitas. I'll never stay anywhere else. The Casitas are my home away from home. The staff is amazing - professional, dedicated, friendly, and...

We stayed in a Casita in August for 2 nights. The casitas are very spacious, have a small kitchen and front and back porches and rocking chairs. There is a very nice courtyard with an ice machine and grill. Everything is very well maintained and landscaped. We also took the day long Santa Elena Canyon rafting trip with them which...

The casitas were clean, had plenty of room and were conveniently located not far from the Big Bend National Park entrance. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. There is also a grill outside that can be used to cook meals. We would definitely stay there again.

The casita we stayed at for 3 nights was perfect in every way. It was very clean, spacious, and adorable! We loved watching the sunset/sunrise out on the porch. In addition to sunsets and sunrises, we also enjoyed seeing the bats and wildlife. The gas grill was perfect for grilling steaks. We had the perfect anniversary weekend!

My dad, sister, and I stayed at the Big Bend Casitas for 4 nights on our recent Big Bend National Park trip and they were perfect! The casitas were nice and clean, and the beds were super comfy. If you aren't able to stay in the park, this is the best place to stay as they are just a short...

The casitas at Far Flung Outdoor Center in Terlingua are our go-to place to stay in the Big Bend area. They are well worth the driving distance from the park. Very cute and charming. Awesome southwestern blankets and back porches with big rocking chairs to watch the stars. Heaters in the bathroom ceilings. Kitchenettes. They also have grills and ice...

After deciding on Far Flung for our Big Bend river excursion, I looked for places to stay in Big Bend. I have stayed in the national park before but since the river trips all take place west of the Park, I think the Casitas are the perfect place to stay. They are very private, with air conditioning, which in Texas...
