Clean and comfortable motel with great access to Big Bend NP. We could not get reservations for The Chisos Basin Lodge on short notice but this was available and in some ways is better. The rooms are about the same but the cell service is better. AC is good. Breakfast in the basin can't be beat but otherwise the variety...

Pretty rustic hotel. Clean rooms, bed was comfortable. Coffee pot and coffee was supplied. Be sure to bring your own hair dryer. Linens were old but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Café attached to the hotel has a great buffet breakfast.

Planned to stay in the park, but reservations got messed up. The lodge recommended this place and they had space. Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were simple. Good bed. Slept well. Quiet. Dusty, but you can't get away from west Texas dust in this location. Beautiful scenery. Gas and food available nearby. Good affordable place to HQ while visiting Big...

There is nothing, I mean nothing open after 930pm. The day we arrived, we got there at like 3:30pm. I already reserved and paid for the room online - however they would not give me a room, not even a room number, until after 4pm. We went hiking in the park until it was getting dark, about 8:30pm. When we...

The food was better than expected, & service was nice too. The chicken friend steak was quite good. Sandwiches were good as well. The location is right off the highway, so not hard to find. A nice convenience store & gas station is attached.

I tried to think of something positive about the room but couldn't come up with one thing. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in and I have been all over the world. It was filthy to say the least. The plastered wall above the tub was peeling, the tub was absolutely filthy as was the chairs around...

This motel and RV park was the lest expensive in the area. I spent a whole day in Big Bend National Park after driving from Marathon, and was signed into the motel part across the street. This motel is part of Forever Resorts, but I would hardly call this place a "resort." There was a grill/restaurant and it had the...

We did the Big Bend Overland Tour with Dakota our guide for the 12 hour River Road Tour and it was a fantastic way to see a very big part of the park if you have very limited time there. We only had 3 days in the park and it is so big and so difficult to drive through that...

This place serves the purpose of a moderately clean room (lots of flies) a bed, and a shower. For Big Bend hikers and bikers this may be enough, but too spartan for us. In fact, if you are only a casual sightseer in Big Bend with a desire for comfort, pass this by.

Stayed here for 2 nights, during which the bathrooms were never cleaned or refilled (hand soap, toilet paper) and that was just the Men's room, the women's had a clogged toilet for 3 days. Simply disgusting. I spoke to the front desk when checking out and he said that "they should be cleaned". I then spoke to one of the...
