Love staying in the cabin's, nothing Fancy, but everything you need, close to everything. We have stayed here several years in a row and plan on going back in the near future. Love sitting outside and watching all the amazing Stars!!

Staff is very friendly. This motel has a nice little shop. I had never been to this town and the people are amazing. If you need a place to stay give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Great views!

This place is definitely not Marriott quality, but it is much more fun. The small cabins will sleep three (one single bed, two queens), with a kitchenette (coffee maker, microwave , fridge and sink) and dishes, pots and utensils; and bathroom with plenty of towels. The sky views at night are indescribable! The Milky Way overhead is so clear it...

This is a small, but very clean motel they come and clean up everyday, the part we rented was small but very well kept up, you got to remember this is out in the desert, out in the middle of nowhere, the beds where comfortable and we had a queen size bed, I would stay their again.

Many moons ago I lived in the Terlingua area. Much has changed since that time yet much remains the same. The people who own the Chisos Mining Company Motel have been in the area for decades and are obviously more attuned to practicality than romance. This area is all about the outdoors. Having a clean, comfortable place to come back...

We stayed in a cabin which could have been cleaner, but considering the other places around, our cabin was very adequate for our stay. The price was right and the place is very conveniently located for the National Park. It was quiet and one can see plenty of stars late at night or very early in the AM. All in...

In the heat of a Big Bend visit, this is better than camping because of a very effective AC. There was also a flat screen TV with limited channel selection. The view of sunrise over the Chisos Mountains was a beautiful site. Just know what to expect here: This is a budget lodging. It was clean, but the decor (circa...

When visiting Big Bend National Park, we always stay at Chisos Mining Company cabins, instead of motel. This is good accommodation for the budget and CMCM has been in operation for a long time. The owner is very helpful with booking and maintenance, if necessary. The cabins, small and large, are basic accommodations with all beds and kitchen (equipped) in...

This is a good spot for the budget traveler. We had one room with one bed and a nightstand that was $50. We also rented a cabin that slept 5 and had a kitchen it that was $100 a night. There is no TV, no coffee pot, etc.- it is a place to sleep and sit on the porch and...

This time we had three cabins, #17, #19, and #20 for our group of 11 family members. We come down to Big Bend every year about this time of year and have a get together. As usual, the cabins were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This motel is very rustic and plain with no tv,...
