Our stay at Vineyard B&B LCR for a momentous anniversary was more than I expected. We got personalized attention from the reservation process until checkout. The Cabernet Franc room was quiet and comfortable. Dinner of salmon and rice with green beans seasoned with herbs de Provence was tremendous. The wine pairing with J wines Pinot noir was on the mark. We had the place literally to ourselves during the week. John and Kathy are great hosts. We’ll be back.
We chose The Vineyard B&B at Lost Creek Ranch to celebrate my 50th birthday. This was our first stay and did not know what to expect. Our expectations were exceeded. Dave and Kathy are amazing! The gourmet meals were fabulous and anything we asked for was provided. We opted for a to-go lunch to take hiking and it was phenomenal. I asked Dave for directions to a store for ice and he said not to worry about that as he would bag ice for us. We stopped on our way back and got BBQ to go but didn't have plates. I called Kathy and she immediately brought them to our room. Dave and Kathy made our stay the best possible. They are great to talk to and will go out of their way to provide what you need. The room was spectacular and very well decorated. I highly recommend The Vineyard B&B at Lost Creek Ranch. You will not be disappointed.…
We had so much fun staying at The Vineyard B&B at Lost Creek Ranch. Dave and Kathy were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make our stay special. Everything was exceptionally clean, and followed all current CDC guidelines for Covid-19. We felt very safe staying with them during this pandemic. The food was amazing, the service was on point, and the views could not be beat. The B&B is located close enough to wineries and shopping to provide plenty of options for entertainment but still secluded enough to enjoy the quiet life of the beautiful hill country. We will definitely be returning!
I booked a special wknd for my girl and her birthday. This place was everything it said it was on the website and then some. Dave and Kathy are the absolute best host, went above and beyond to ensure my girl had the best birthday! The food is home made and so delicious. Dave you rocked the kitchen. Definitely will stay here again.
Simply a phenomenal weekend at the Vineyard B&B. The service, detailed attention and communication before and during the stay with the owners was personalized and felt more like dialogue with family. The rooms were comfortable, creative and stylish. The morning breakfast was simply amazing (chicken and waffles, with BBQ maple syrup). The morning of departure breakfast sandwiches were made to go given the hour of departure. The detail and attention extended by owners (Kathy and Dave) made this a fabulous experience while enjoying the hill country.
I went to The Vineyard B&B at Lost Creek Ranch and stayed there one night with my boyfriend. I wished we could have stayed longer! It's about 35 minutes from Enchanted Rock and an HEB is near by in Llano. The experience was wonderful, we stayed in the Shiraz room and it had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner is available, I'd highly recommend the wine, and it's overall a great place for a weekend get-away with great drinks and food. Perfect for a couples trip or even bringing a few of your girlfriends. I'd love to go back for a full weekend (they offer 10% off if you return in the same year) and take a wine tour. Highly recommend! The owners Dave and Kathy are beyond pleasant and accommodating.
We can't say enough about this b&b!! Kathy and Dave are awesome hosts! They take care of you down to the tiniest details. Our room was super and at night the bed was turned down with chocolates on the pillows. The breakfast was amazing to finish off our stay. We can't thank them enough for the wonderful stay! Wish we lived closer to be a regular customer. You will never regret staying here and tell them we say hi!
We had the property, and the wonderful innkeepers, all to ourselves during a three-day February getaway. Kathy and Dave were wonderful hosts, provided great information about local sites and dining options, and prepared fresh, generous, and delicious breakfasts each morning. The quiet location afforded exactly the R&R we needed. (Our favorite day trip was to the Hill Country Olive Company, near Dripping Springs, less than an hour away along a great, winding back road.)
I strongly advise NOT to go to this place. The owner is very rude and impolite Arriving is a nightmare. The place is locked up. Everything closed. Takes ages ... and it’s midday !! We were told we had to come back at 3 pm to get a room. So we did. The owners had locked up again. We called the telephone. Gone to lunch elsewhere they said. Not back for an hour they said. Great welcome The place is very expensive ; the quality is only fair. The beds are not comfortable The owners insisted on coming to our room at nearly 10 pm to get their money. No trust until breakfast you see We asked for a coffee at 815 in the morning Not possible. Breakfast starts at 830 When breakfast was available there was no choice. No fruit no cereals no variety no menu and quite the WORST coffee .. having been stewing in a pot Treat yourself. Go somewhere else …
A beautiful property, with beautifully decorated rooms. Just as the website shows them. But it’s the Inn Keepers, Kathy and Dave, that really made our special birthday celebration so fabulous. After contacting them directly about a few special requests, I knew our weekend would be great. Kathy provided information about the area, the wineries, restaurants, etc. And so generously decorated the room for the birthday surprise. Every meal was created, cooked and presented as though we were in a 5 Star restaurant! Loved everything about our stay and look forward to our next Gathering of the Goddesses! Thank you Vineyard B & B! It was a birthday to remember.
