My wife and I stayed at September Song during the last week of June. Ed and Marlene made the most wonderful host for us. Within reason, there wasn't anything they couldn't do to make our stay the most enjoyable. We stayed three nights in Autumn Rose, a jacuzzi tub awaits across the hallway. A carafe of coffee for myself and... More

On November 11, 2015, I visited Stephenville, Texas and stayed at “September Song” in the “Autumn Rose” room. I’ve not stayed at many B&B’s: But if they were all like this one, I would never stay in a regular hotel again. The Autumn Rose room and its private bath were very clean, comfortable, and, I guess you could say, soothing.... More

Marlene and Ed were wonderful hosts. We stayed with them to visit our son during Parents Weekend at Tarleton. We were close to campus and could walk to all of the activities. Marlene prepared the most wonderful breakfasts. The room was cozy and comfortable. They helped make a wonderful weekend that much more special.

My husband traveled to TX this weekend, for a loss in the family, it just so happens, it was also the weekend of our anniversary. We had a rainbow of emotions going on and wanted nothing more than a clean, quiet and comfy place to lay our heads. September Song, gave us all of that and then some. When we... More

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B in April. The decor is charming, and our queen room very comfortable. The owners made us delicious oatmeal blueberry pancakes and were very kind and helpful. This was a return visit for my husband who had enjoyed staying there a few years ago, and we hope to return in the future. We... More

A delightful stay in a western-motif room with wonderful breakfast prepared by the owners who were ready to prepare the desired breakfast with some a home made feel from a breakfast souflee or traditional omlet to delicious bread and pastry. This B&B is near perfect! Located in a small Texas town known for its friendliness and hospitality, I stay when I visit my family who work and go to college in Stephenville. The owner/innkeeper treats you like family and made me a special order breakfast to help me stay on my diet of healthy eating. I watched Marlene core a... More
