My wife and I rented out the red cabin for one night. The only regret we have is that we didn’t rent it out for 2 nights.
Yes the room and the restroom are separated by 3 steps but that was not a big deal at all.
Upon arrival we immediately fell I love with the room and the entire location. The room is extremely cozy and has everything you would need of you take your food to cook. The red cabin has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and a single stove top. Right outside there are two charcoal pits and one propane pit. There is also a nice little selection of snacks in a basket and coffee with powdered creamer and different sugars available. Tea packets are also there.
The bed is very comfortable with pillows and blankets. There are extra blankets behind the bed in wooden basket as well. Bathrobes and hangers are also provided.
The oversized bathtub is perfect for sitting in, relaxing and having a couple beers or glasses of wine.
Around the camp there are plenty of places to sit including chairs and hammocks. The most relaxing spot is the two chairs right next to the stream of water. The walk down to the lake is not far but very coming back up could be a struggle for elderly or those who are not in very good shape.
The top deck above the restroom is great. You can see down on the rest of the area.
My wife and I will definitely be coming back. It’s great to know that such an amazing vacation getaway is only 1 1/2 hour from us.

We had the whole property for a group of friends (and our kids) to get away! We were in Romantic Red, our kids stayed in The Bunk House, and the other families we traveled with occupied the majority of the remaining rooms/tents.

The property is gorgeous! So peaceful. There was room for the kids to play soccer while the adults sat around the picnic table and chatted.

We went down to the dock and did some fishing. There is a beautiful view of Lake Travis both from the property where the rooms are as well as once you head down to the dock.

We had a family style dinner in the main house and built a campfire to roasted marshmallows for smores.

While our family camps quite frequently, it was nice to be able to have a similar experience (quiet, connected with nature, ability to disconnect and just have good conversations and laughs) while being with some friends who much prefer the glamping experience!

The property was well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable!

We were there in December so it was a little chilly for water activities, but would certainly return when we could use the paddle boards!

I would highly recommend for a group glamping trip!

This is a great place to go and have fun and relax. When we went, we went fishing down at the river and caught three big catfish and then at night we sat around the fire and cooked sausages. Everything was very clean and everything worked. Very pleased with our stay.

The day of my reservation I still hadn't been sent check in details. I messaged and called the property manager at 6 and 7 pm, and was told he was driving but would send the instructions via text. By 9pm I still hadn't received the text, so I called again with no answer. I received the text instructions at 10:19pm, at which point I had already pulled over and booked another room. I responded that this was totally unprofessional and unacceptable and was told I'd receive a full refund. Days later when I inquired about my refund, I was told the owners felt there was nothing stopping me from going to the room and refused to refund me. The property manager said he'd shared all of the information I needed, but he couldn't even tell me on the phone which room I had.

I cannot believe that after the experience I had, having to hound the property manager to provide information that should have been provided days prior, and having to find alternate accommodations on the side of the road, they have the gall to do anything but apologize profusely and issue a full refund. Instead I'm having to waste more of my time on the phone trying to resolve this.

To call this place peaceful, relaxing, or refreshing does not do it justice. Maybe Renewing would be a good word. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The facilities here are wonderful. The communication with management was flawless. I booked via Home Away and it was a great experience. This remote facility will exactly suit people who want to feel like they are miles from the rat-race. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed The Cottage Upstairs. The Cottage is comfortable and inviting. Other facilities are available, including EcoCabins. Check them out on Facebook or Home Away tor the details.

Our favorite amenity was the boat house. It is no longer floating because of water levels on Lake Travis, but it is just on the water and gave us a quiet and relaxing place to just sit and vegitate. We also made use of the terraced seating and enjoyed reading up there or just chatting.

I highly recommend this spot for your vacation where you just want to be away from it all.

Rented all the eco cabins over the weekend with a group of friends. What a great place to stay! Grilled out, sat in front of fire pit making smores and just relaxed. Very interesting property and architecture. It was awesome having your own living space. The river is low but you can make your way down to the river and still get in the water. The property is very close to a vineyard, One of the prettiest vineyards ive seen in awhile. Would definitely return to property for another relaxing weekend

We recently stayed here, due to it being so close to our zip lining adventure! It's nestled at the end of the road, tucked into the hill side, like a hidden gem. It was a easy in and out, for all our activities, which included Stonehouse Wineries, Poodies Roadhouse and many others. The organic coffee and sweeteners were a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family rented out the main house (Casa de Joy) and the eco cabins for a weekend getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This property is so relaxing and really off the beaten path. The lake is VERY low and extremely hard to get to (we didn't make it to the water because of the thick vegetation and brush). However, you still have a lovely view of the lake and the back patio is so peaceful. I could have just sat there all weekend and been perfectly content. We stayed busy though! Friday night we cooked out on the grill (the property has 2) and Saturday we made a big breakfast. The kitchen in the main house has everything you could ever need for cooking; we just had to bring the food. Saturday afternoon we went to Krause Springs and then went over to Stone House Vineyard for a wine tasting. Saturday night we hung out and played games and visited. We hated to leave on Sunday. We are already planning our next trip to this great location!

I was told that this was the best wedding location ever been to by one of my guests. It's fun and unique architecture and blends right in with nature all around it. Bethany and Travis are some of the most gracious hosts you'll ever meet and they worked so hard re-cleaning the entire property after the storm blew in the night before the rehearsal dinner! Yoga was the best ever and much needed the morning of the wedding. The houses were immaculately clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we very much enjoyed a night in the Jacuzzi.

This place is so eclectic and cool. So many unique cabins and places to stay for a romantic weekend or just hanging with your friends. The big house has an awesome kitchen and tons of great hangout space. The whole area is very communal, peaceful, beautiful and awesome. Bethany is a wonderful yoga instructor and she and Travis are great hosts and awesome people. Right next to the lake, this place is really awesome and one of a kind.
